    the fact that he was a guest speaker at a church says more about the church than it does about him

    • @samsdad110
      @samsdad110 3 месяца назад

      Absolutely as congregants to that Roman Catholic Church that he spoke at last week can hear and experience during the Mass heresy on a regular basis there.
      Unfortunately, most protestants like Jason have no clue that Rome is a different religion pretending to be Christian and using Christian terms and paying lip service to the authority of scripture but it subsumes it in authority beneath their traditions and teaching of their magisterium or their teaching office
      In short, it’s just another man of self-salvation just like in that way with Mormonism and Jehovah’s Witnesses along with Islam and others.

      the church is well known in Chicago for its "black liberation" ideology

    • @aceboon4624
      @aceboon4624 3 месяца назад

      When you look around at today's America, and study her failings, you need to look no further than the church falling asleep at the wheel. People often cite, "separation of church and state" when trying to keep biblical values out of the public square. However, if these people were intellectually honest and curious, they would study the degradation of our culture, but they don't because they would see the flaws in their ideology.

    In October of 2015 i was in D.C.. with my lily white family
    I had no idea it was in the 20 year reunion of the Million Man March! I felt a bit uncomfortable with Blacks walking around with buttons that said No Justice no Peace and a few big Black guys wearing Muslim attire, just after a Louise Farraken speech. Boy I felt out of place.
    But as I made my way to a D.C. museum there was one black guy on a parked bike with 2 mega phones speaking Christianity while the crowd was giggling and treating him like a 'Jesus freak'.
    He made my day! I walked around the rest of my time there like I was untouchable. That guy on the bike had real guts. Can't place his face but i wonder if it was Delano.

    Source: American battlefield trust.
    Dr. J. David Hacker, a demographic historian in his 2011 work " A Census-Based Count of Civil War Dead" reports, in an in-depth study, that civil war deaths may be as high as 850,000 men.

    First of all June tenth is a rem Holliday and it has nothing to do with George Floyd. You can argue if it should be a national holiday but I will acknowledge it as a legitimate Texas Holliday. No one cares about Juneteenth because the whole month of June has been covered in the Rainbow 🌈.
    Secondly , Marc Lamont Hill shouldn’t be allowed to preach at any church. He has made no public declaration of his faith and he is openly for the LGBTQ 🏳️‍🌈 community and that is anti Biblical. He knows this and that is why he won’t declare Christ as his savior. He has been to a few churches now as guest “ preacher “. The pastors of these churches should have discernment not to allow a man who has church histrionics and no theological background or respect for church doctrine , in the pulpit.

    Jason some context. St. Sabina is a Catholic Church on South Side of Chicago, headed by white pastor Pflegger, FAMOUS for its "black liberation", "social justice". "black afrocentrism" slant. so OF COURSE Hill would be the perfect speaker there and would had been invited to be a speaker!! Hill should tell you about his love for Farrakhan though

    During WWII , the Russians were losing badly during the German invasion. Had Hitler listened to his best Field Marshal, Erwin Rommel, and not fought that war on two fronts all of Moscow would be speaking German today. The Germans would have taken Moscow before winter. The Americans never faced that kind of threat from the Germans or Japanese. The United States also saved Britain and liberated Europe. The United States is what won that war Jason.

    I don’t know, Delano, all the evidence I’ve seen tells me that the vast majority of black churches are heal even if some most are better than what Jason experienced last Sunday.
    It is very rare to find a black person these days who comprehends the gospel the way you seem to, especially when you mention the term “remnant.” Why not mention that you’re an adherent of reformed theology or Calvinism as Jason really needs to be taught by the Holy Spirit, of course as I keep hoping and praying that Voddie Baucom will convince him of that and stay in touch and mentor him.

      Couldn't have said it better....smh... Jason has the zeal but no indwelling of the Holy Ghost which is ok because but he's still
      "in process" just like the rest of us, but I too wish there was some strong counsel around him to give him more understanding and insight so that he won't continue to lift up the name of Christ in one sentence then advertise for gambling, liquor, and a product that helps with hangovers....smh.... I've said it before that he's saying more than a lot of so-called pastors are afraid to say which is why I continue to pray that God will continue to grow, cover, and lead him into all of his truths.

    He sounded just like Pfleger. I don’t know why Lamont thinks any significant portion of that congregation is an ex-con. That’s awfully condescending and kinda racist. Also, anyone who is an ex-con would probably hide that fact. They certainly wouldn’t advertise it.

    MLH is wrong when said that Jesus was a political prisoner. Jesus was no one’s prisoner. Yes he was in tbd custody of the high priest and later Pilate, but He was not their prisoner. He was calling the shots not them. They were doing what He wanted.

    When it comes to the Robert Morris issue, I think they are all way off base. The church and the leaders removed him for 2 years while he dealt with his sins, either we believe in redemption and that Jesus can heal us from anything if we are willing. Yes, the leaders of church are held to a higher standard but, God restored him and he used him to save thousands and who are we to judge after Jesus has dealt with it. It was taken care of on both sides at the time.
