Why are "publicly listed estate sales not allowed"? My guess is because it's some historic, wealthy community where there are many great and important pieces which the 'antiquer' 'historical item dealers' community wants to keep as a captive market all to themselves.
I would have bought so many things, the prices were great! So quiet and relaxing to shop that way…
