Thanks so much. I bought many linear feet of industrial pile carpet from Home Depot and just cut it to fit each of my worktops. Nothing fancy or expensive.
Well, my day was not at all as I expected so now it is quite late at night here and I have finally found the time to watch and enjoy this vid. I have been looking forward to it since you mentioned that it would come out. It feels as if I have been hanging out in your garage for quite a while now and it is a evolving project. It is so clean looking but still it has a lot going on. I know it is not easy to organize everything to your liking. But man, you have done a really good job! The feel is like in your vids. Cool and smooth. As a Swede I am glad to see both Ikea and that licence plate on your entertainment wall. It gives me a bit connection. You seem like a really nice guy and you have made yourself a fantastic place for your detailing. It is well deserved and I hope you get to enjoy it as much as you would like. So now a question that not really is about your garage. What would be your dream car to detail that you not alreade have done? You know you have already done my favorite ;)
I wish I could just be happy with setting a camera up on a tripod, but I see video making as a challenge. "How can I make this footage look more engaging?" is the question I constantly ask myself. I'm glad you were able to find time to enjoy it.
Thanks for your kind words about my garage. The carpet you see on my work surfaces is just low-pile industrial carpet you find at big box stores. Nothing fancy but it does help me maintain a cleaner looking space.
Glad you enjoyed the tour! I had a few plans in mind, but 90% of this garage has resulted in me "going with the flow" as you said. That has meant I have redone certain aspects of the design a few times, but working on the garage itself has been a huge stress relief for me over the years. I find working "on" the garage as fun as working "in" the garage!
I was hoping to hear or see what the beer of choice was in the garage fridge. That was always a staple of the MTV Cribs show back in the day, they had to show what was in their fridge. We need answers Rick
It only took me 6 to 8 months of begging for a garage tour but it was worth it !!!! So jealous of your garage brother. My garage is lit up so much that local police stopped by to see if I was growing " things" ...lol Got a Audi question for you. I love the mercedes-benz E63s 4matic plus....but thinking about a Rs7....your thoughts 🤔...much respect buddy
Hey Matt! I haven’t had any visits from the “POPO”...yet! I don’t think you could go wrong with either car. I was super impressed by the white E63S I detailed a few years ago. I got to drive it and it was probably the best drive I’ve ever had. I haven’t ever been in or driven an RS7 though.
Your welcome Rick, I only wish you were closer I would definitely bring my truck to you for a detailing job. On one condition you stick a Habs licence plate on it while you are detailing it.😁😁😁

Thanks for the kind words regarding my garage. It is really tricky to put a cost figure on it since it has been developed over the past 12 years. To be honest, there isn't really anything in the garage that is super expensive. Plus, some of what is in there was generously supplied by partnering companies. If I was to build it the way it is today, it would probably be about $20k. Nothing compared to what some garages out there are worth! I am going to do a new tour video soon and there are some potentially huge upgrades coming to stay tuned!

Excellent layout! It’s great to get ideas for a garage! 👍🏻
Thanks. I am glad you can find some inspiration behind some of my garage choices.
Love the garage. You have more products than most pro detailers. Lol.
Thanks for the tour.
You bet. I do tend to collect things rather quickly!
@@RADGarage excellent stuff.👏🏻
Awesome garage. A lot of inspiration here.
Thanks so much. I hope people will see that you don’t necessarily need a massive garage to create something fun to be in.
Thank you for the video. You have a beathiful garage!!! Best Regards
I appreciate you Cristian.
Great “Tour” Rick. My wife and I watched tonight during our happy hour. I will never know how you get so much stuff in the space you have . The “Ultimate Organizer” in our book. Love your love of towels and love them myself. More more more is my motto. BTW .... do you have any “al-lew-many-um deck-als? Could be the next big thing!😂 We’re Fans For Life,. Thanks 😊
Glad you kids enjoyed it. 🙏
Hi Rick!
Amazing.. absolutely amazing garage..
Very nice tour sir!
Well I’ve said on your Instagram that it is like a “ museum “ look but no touch..
Well I’m sorry after this video... I’ve changed my mind!
This is NASA laboratory for car detailing!
You definitely love your brushes.. 😁😉great collection. Great one sir !
Respect!
👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
👏👏👏👏👏👏
👍👍👍👍👍👍
💪💪💪💪💪💪
Yeah, I wasn't sure what to make of the museum comparison. I guess there are some "hands on" museums out there, but this place gets a regular workout! Thanks for the compliments my friend.
@@RADGarage hi Rick!
Well what I meant about the “ museum “ part on Instagram...
Your garage/ tools the whole lot it look like in pristine condition!
Like a painting or a piece of art!
I hope you understand my comment!👍
I totally do!
garage goals
Thanks Simon. I hope you’ll enjoy my videos featuring my garage and the detailing projects I complete in it.
Awesome setup. Kind of a dream of mine. Maybe one day before my time is up! LOL
I finally had my own garage at the age of 39 and the last 11 years have been fun getting it to how I want it. Good luck!
“...where I keep my Coke.”
*sent shockwaves to @theragcompany 😂
Haha. I guess there’s more than one way to take that! 😀
@@RADGarage oh didn’t think of that before but, you’re right. 😂
Mic drop
What a RAD garage..... luv you garage
My garage loves you back, Mike! 🥰
The best car enthusiast garage in the history of youtube.congratulations Rick. HARD WORK PAID OFF
Thanks Carlos. I’m quite proud of it. 🙏.
I love the garage, but especially all of the Audi related items. I have that same book (Four Rings) as you do!
Great taste!
Perfekt profesionál Garage! 😀
Thank you very much!
Hey Rick awesome garage bro! I just subscribed to your channel and look forward to supporting you! I saw that great wheel off job you did with Pan. Keep up the good work bro!
Happy to have you along for the ride. I will be uploading a new tour video since I have made some enhancements in the last little while. Stay tuned!
CLEAN!!!!🎉
Hi there Rick. I absolutely love your garage and I’m in the final process of moving into my new home that has a garage. I would like to incorporate some of your ideas into my garage. Hope you don’t mind. I would like to know if you can tell me where did you get the stainless steel shelves from. I absolutely love the look of those shelves. Thanks for showing us your setup as it’s truly and inspiration.
Feel free to borrow all the inspiration you want! The shelves are from IKEA. Check out my website for lots more info: www.RADGarage.ca.
Hi. Can you provide more details surrounding the carpet materials used to cover your workbench? The garage looks amazing. Thank you
Thanks so much. I bought many linear feet of industrial pile carpet from Home Depot and just cut it to fit each of my worktops. Nothing fancy or expensive.
@@RADGarage thank you. Did you glue it?
I used two-side carpet tape.
@@RADGarage thank you very much.
Beautiful garage brotha! I am always impresssd when i see it.
Thanks so much. 🙏
And when reading some of the answers to comments here I feel honored. The thought of me beeing partly behind something in your garage... Thank you.
I wish I could just be happy with setting a camera up on a tripod, but I see video making as a challenge. "How can I make this footage look more engaging?" is the question I constantly ask myself. I'm glad you were able to find time to enjoy it.
@@RADGarage Well, I still have to find a vid here that is not looking fantastic.
Thanks man. I just do my best to keep improving.
Awesome garage! Where can I get a carpet top for my workbench? Right now mine has a wood top and you can see every scratch 😢
Thanks for your kind words about my garage. The carpet you see on my work surfaces is just low-pile industrial carpet you find at big box stores. Nothing fancy but it does help me maintain a cleaner looking space.
Love the garage. Make me know I don't need a two car garage. Did you have a plan where you wanted everything or you just went with the flow.
A true dream garage! Nice Rick! 😎🤙🏼
It sure is!
As always, well done!
I appreciate it. It's nice to finally have a clean garage and a clean car to park in it. Seems like one is always dirty these days. (Or both!)
Love the floor plan, well thought out. Let me know when you're having a garage sale...😂
For sure!!
I was hoping to hear or see what the beer of choice was in the garage fridge. That was always a staple of the MTV Cribs show back in the day, they had to show what was in their fridge. We need answers Rick
My favourite beverages don't live in the fridge. They live on the top shelf.
Love to have such garage.
Having my own garage was something I dreamed of as a kid. It took me 39 years to finally realize my dream, and I am enjoying it EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. 🤘
@@RADGarage Finally you achieved your dream. Cngrts Rick.
It only took me 6 to 8 months of begging for a garage tour but it was worth it !!!! So jealous of your garage brother. My garage is lit up so much that local police stopped by to see if I was growing " things" ...lol
Got a Audi question for you.
@@RADGarage thx brother
Awesome setup, well planned, and it looks amazing ! Your probably in the garage more often than the house makes sense to make it comfortable
I can definitely spend long chunks of time in there, and it does feel like a home more than a garage. Thanks for the great compliment. 🤘
Your welcome Rick, I only wish you were closer I would definitely bring my truck to you for a detailing job. On one condition you stick a Habs licence plate on it while you are detailing it.😁😁😁
I don't do Habs fans' cars. Never have, never will! 😁
@@RADGarage 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Fair enough Rick.
Keep up the good work awesome videos and awesome garage.
Thanks Tony. Your continued support is important to me and totally appreciated.
As always ,you are my role model for a detailer. LOVE your garage, videos, soundtrack and all.
One little thing, the link to your merch is not working for some reason...
Keep it up man! And hello from Israel 🖐️
Thanks for the support. Which merch link are you using? I’ll check it out.
Thank you for the video sir, you touched on your pink apc, can you tell me more about it please?
Yes. It’s a cleaner called Extra Tough. Out of the States. They sent me a few gallons and I love it. extratoughcleaners.com
@@RADGarage thank you
Beautiful information…. Thank you so much for making video like this for us … very helpful
Just one question :- where did u buy those steel shelves…..
Thanks Gary. All of the shelving components you see in my garage apart from the new one I have to support my pressure washer, is from Ikea. I am not sure these exact components are still offered at Ikea, but that's where they all came from.
@@RADGarage thanks reply…. I will definitely check there …. Keep doing good work… there are people like me who appreciate this kind of information… thanks million
Good luck!
Great video Rick!
Thanks Dallas. I'm looking forward to following your garage build!
How are the carpets on the counter and tool chests attached? Adhesive? Double sided tape?
That’s one of my favourites updates I’ve made along the way. I use double sided tape. Not a lot, just at the corners. Keeps me sane since I don’t feel the need to be constantly wiping work surfaces clean.
Salut tu a un garage de rêve pour tout ceux qui font du detailling félicitation tu doit pas avoir pensé de les faire en français ou les inclure sous titré merci
Merci. J'aurais aimé parler français, mais je n'ai jamais pu l'apprendre.
nice set up, thanks for the tour! #lifegoals #garageenvy
My pleasure!
Awesome man, beautiful!
Thanks a lot!
There was a can of paint in that small cabinet that said "Rona" lol That just cracked me up.
I’ve never made the connection until now. 😂
@@RADGarage Just keep it locked up in there! 😂
😷
I hope someday to build a similar garage for me
I waited a very long time before finally having a garage. I was 39 when we got this place. It has been an amazing 11 years of improvement and evolution. All the best to you and your pursuit of your garage dreams!
Pure envy ❤️
Looking great Rick!
Thanks 👍
As we say in Australia-top shed mate👍🔥
Thanks man. All the best to ya.
Love your garage it’s just a dream just out of curiosity how much was it to build and stock the whole garage
@@RADGarage amazing I’ll keep an eye oit
My Audi a6 dreams that it is in your hands ... greetings from Madrid.
If only there were a way to connect with cars from my International friends! 🌏↪🛩
The shelves hanging on the wall above your mat hangers, where did you get those? As always, another RAD video!
Thanks Andy. Those shelves are from IKEA. I don't think that specific style is still available, but they must have something comparable.
Impressed!!!!
Thanks Glen.
@@RADGarage Sorry forgot to tell you before it's Gerry, my fault
Oh man, remember I told you I had a buddy named Brad Crockford that moved to Calgary from the UK when I was in 4th Grade? Well, his little brother is named Glen. LOL
