Perfection at its best; there isn't even a close second when it comes to someone with detailing knowledge and garage set-up experience. Ive reviewed hundreds (maybe thousands) of detail systems and garage platforms and this guy is just so out in the lead, its insanely good!
Absolutely amazing set up, the pursuit of perfection never ends, but with Matt at the Helm we’re all being led in the direction of perfection and attention to detail. This is a garage of dreams. Thanks for the amazing update.
Product knowledge and experience is a great tool to pass on and will inspire the uninformed and re-enforce the justification for the converted. It’s worth noting that average will alway be average, but better is always better… This translates well in to detailing and attention to the details. Matt’s passion for his vocation is at full speed. Thank you for another great video 👍
Excellent Matt - love the sonic cabinets you installed. Getting ready to place an order, got some ideas from this video. Also on your website you do a great job of providing detailed descriptions for all the products. First class as always.
6:30 I agree with you on the Koch Chemie cleaner… I still come back to Nextzett Cockpit after trying other products out there. There’s something about Cockpit that leaves the interior a nice non-greasy / Shiny finish. You can’t beat it for the money.
Now that you've partnered up with Griot's, have you considered carrying their more aesthetically appealing blue window reach tool instead? Those kits actually come with two tightly woven bonnets instead of needing to purchase them separately!
I agree. Add the Rupes Blue Coarse pads. But also consider the Rupes Green Medium pads. They are so versatile that they have become my usual go-to’s. One other suggestion. Get some Gummi Flange (either Nexxt or Sonax). Both work great at softening and protecting the rubber trumps around your cars (especially the doors).
You have the best garage and setup of all time. I loved seeing the kranzle, something you started coming full circle. I really enjoyed this video, you're very knowledgeable and you have an absolute dream garage. I hope you are well, much respect and more success to come
Your videos and Instagram post inspired me for when I built my garage last year. Not quite on par with what you have or do. Wish someone did what you do over the pond in the UK. Keep it up.
Hey Matt, garage looks great maybe you, Mike, Adam, and pan could all get together there one weekend and get some really cool driving videos Or better yet do a giveaway/ contest and bring along a lucky winner. I know you do a lot, which is appreciated. Just throwing a idea out there. Have a great one.
if you don't like changing head on your beloved rupes ibrid nano polisher and bought 4 of them, congrats You made it, in life and reached the crazy level where Matt is sitting at Ha,ha... overkill is his life strategy, and he is so successful at it. i am a bit jealous with a lots of respect to him he waste his his own money for the R&D and i appreciate the effort. i have learned a lot from him and i am grateful for that and enjoying the content is a bonus my hats is off to you Mr Matty.
It’s so crazy how people on insta and RUclips that actually follow our boy Matt don’t know how much he loves detailing💀. These builds are just beautiful and I remember watching the vid when they first went to look at that mansion.
Have you guys seen the led strip style headlamps? I recently got one and it’s the best for light spread and illuminating a work area. Much better than a spotted work beam headlamp. Maybe not for polishing specific inspection but man it’s great for everything else. I would recommend trying them out and searching for the OG spec version to carry.
Would love to see a good selection of the detailing products available for the GT3RS giveaway. Looking to put together a nice Fathers Day detailing gift for my dad.
Superb video and attention to detail. I live about 1.5 hours away from Helen here in GA, will have to check out that glorious property in the future. EDIT: Also, by the way, your thoughts on GYEON products? I have a few things of theirs and seem to work well on my Tesla. Will do some research on the products you show here.
@@ObsessedGarage I’ll definitely check them out on your online shop. I’m enjoying all your videos to get inspiration and of course, value for my $$, as I’m starting with an almost-blank slate in my own 2-car garage at our home in GA. Cheers!
have you looked at an RO water system to compliment your DI system? highly cost effective and cuts resin use to a tenth of what it was. your doppleganger brother at Improved Garage has a pretty sweet system I'm probably going to install in my garage.
Yeah I haven’t had good luck with Clarity and experience smearing issues too. On a vehicle with a “normal” uncoated windshield and on a vehicle with a coated windshield, always smears :(
Matt, Have you tried Koch Chemie Pol star for general interior cleaning? It’s a fantastic product! I much prefer it over P&S now. Then for anything heavier such as oils, stains etc i use Koch Chemie MZR. Killer combo and i think would be able to tackle anything
Iron Buster is tough stuff. Maybe on some exposed suspension components. Iron remover on the surface (glass and clear coat). Brake Buster has some iron remover in it when doing the wgeels. Rust Syr on the rotor/hub assembly. I have used Iron Buster on locking components (tailgates and Jeep door jams) with some success.
Ha, ha... If only I wasn't deathly afraid of the doctor and getting blood drawn, I'd be all about getting some help. I'm going to have to get this fatness under control on my own.
Around $1,000 if you get them all. Starter packages are available as well: www.obsessedgarage.com/collections/car-interior-towels-tools/products/complete-microfiber-solution-ver-3-0
When does mumbles actually USE these tools and products and get dirty? Kind of like woodworkers who buy all the pretty tools but never build anything. I get the product eval but come on do some work so people can see if they work or just fit your obsession to have a pretty work space.

Matt is one of the least likely people I would have guessed would wear this shirt. So this video is hilarious to me.
If I ever won the lottery here in the UK, I’m flying you over to fit out my garage. That’s an incredible set up! Awesome!
Everything you do is quality and extremely well thought out. I appreciate all the content you share with us. Stay strong.
Thnx for showing us what products and chemicals you keep. Been waiting for this video.

I applaud you Matt for representing Florida Man proudly wearing the Bucee's St. Matty's Day shirt. Hopefully you sent a selfie to Adam.😂
You do the name Obsessed Garage proud, Matt.
Nice tour and great garage...wish I had that much detailing stuff. Keep up the great work 👍

I know one version of Matt from his videos and a brief FaceTime chat but that shirt tells me there’s way more to learn about him.
Good stuff.
You're going to let him off the hook with the 2002 backwards hat?
Ha, ha... I did this for LZ.
@@ObsessedGarage makes sense, LZ is obviously color blind.

These cabinets look way better vs Lista cabinets. Though I’m not sure what is going on with that Shirt
🤣
😂
I just started watching the video please tell me he's going to mention the shirt and backwards 🤠 lol love it
Awesome walkthrough. It would be great to get your perspective on the shelf life for various detailing products to buy in bulk. Thanks again!
I can't really think of anything in the arsenal that has a low shelf life. Especially if stored in a somewhat consistently non-freezing environment.
Quite the flex, Matt, quite the flex!!!
Nice clean garage setup.
The LHR Rupes 3” pneumatic is the cats meow!!!!
Matt that shirt is heinous haha never thought i'd catch ya wearing something like that. In good spirits!
OG spec tie die now days? I have not been around. I like the new Mat !!!
Is there anything that would be a good alternative to Meguiars 39 now that it is discontinued? Hoping OG starts making it soon
I haven't found anything yet.
The shirt is definitely a departure, but what about the jeans!! I dont think ive ever seen Matt in anything other than shorts or hiking pants.

I wonder if FLEX is planning to switch the XFE battery polishers over to the 24V battery line used with their power tools?
Matt’s living the dream he’s part of the 3% that will ever have or afford all of that .
Yes I am envious Lol 😮
have you looked at an RO water system to compliment your DI system? highly cost effective and cuts resin use to a tenth of what it was. your doppleganger brother at Improved Garage has a pretty sweet system I'm probably going to install in my garage.
Yep, we are working on that currently.
Yeah I haven’t had good luck with Clarity and experience smearing issues too. On a vehicle with a “normal” uncoated windshield and on a vehicle with a coated windshield, always smears :(
Do you think Milwaukee will come out with a mini da polisher in the near future? Thanks!
Yes, they will.
What’s the shelf life of the polishes? I am gathering quite the collection and as I only have 2 cars some of my stuff is 3-4 years old.
As long as you don't have larger temperature changes, it would be years.
Matt, Have you tried Koch Chemie Pol star for general interior cleaning? It’s a fantastic product! I much prefer it over P&S now. Then for anything heavier such as oils, stains etc i use Koch Chemie MZR. Killer combo and i think would be able to tackle anything
Also to pair with Eulex they do “Tea” which is probably a more standard Tar & Glue removed like Tar X
Definitely wasn’t ready for Francis’s shirt
Why no iron buster? When would you use it? Is it something you would use before applying a coating of "Bead Maker" on your paint?
Iron Buster is tough stuff. Maybe on some exposed suspension components. Iron remover on the surface (glass and clear coat). Brake Buster has some iron remover in it when doing the wgeels. I can't help but laugh watching Matt in his Buc-ee's t-shirt.
Can anyone imagine Matt washing dirty pads then putting them back on the shelf afterwards? 😂
Ha, ha... I used to do that, but now I just sell them. I'm thinking about doing it with towels next.
Labocosmetica Glico, Acidic based interior cleaner, one for you to check out.
Matt… did I hear you say you use invisible glass on tv screens??
Yep. Me as well.
@@timkinley1779 and it doesn’t damage the screen?
@@cobraj Nope. Why would it? I'm not sure of the ratio, but it is probably 90% water/9% IPA and 1% biocide.
Correct. Invisible Glass has no abrasive chemical in it, so it works well.
Can you do a dual pressure washer set up with any? Like Active or Ryobi??
Theoretically, yes.
Matt when did you hire a middle aged Fred Durst from Limp Bizkit to present your videos 🤣🤣
Cheers from Sydney Australia top RUclips channel
Great overview. That shirt though…damn.
do the og spray bottles have measurments on them for if you want to make a 10:1 dillution for example?
They don't. Maybe someday
I hope this gets used!!!

If this garage was put together from new construction, Putting the water lines on the outside is about as amateur as I’ve seen
