2000 KTM 300 EXC Test Ride with GoPro Hero 2 Chest Cam

My new-to-me 2000 KTM 300 EXC 2 stroke. Fun bike! I really like how the motor will lug down on a hill climb, but still rip when you crack the throttle open. I didn't get too wild in the video... this is the first time I have really rode this thing. Don't wanna loop it just yet ; )

It was fun, sure an older bike will need lots of routine parts replaced. I got rid of the Katoom and now have a '14 Beta 300RR Italian 2 stroke ; )

Never seen one by person, is it higher than a common 90s yz, cr, kx etc ?

I would guess the seat height is around 34 inches, not terribly tall.

Like it? Fricking loved it! Moved up to a 2014 Beta 300RR 2 stroke e start, best engine ever, best power to weight, lugs like a tractor, rips like a chain saw. Bestest f*cking engine ever made. 300 cc 2 strokes are THE F'ING BOMB. Instant addiction. : -o
