lets up this one. im planning to get a hauler and im choosing between this k2500, H100 and traviz. im mind boggled with its payload capacity, comparing power and torque with the traviz, k2500 has better numbers than traviz, but with payload, its just doesnt make sense how traviz can make 1,660kg while k2500 barely make 1,000kg. now im thinking if it has to do with the suspension, if we upgrade the leaf spring of the k2500, can it carry the same if not more than that of the traviz considering it has higher power and torque numbers. or is the k2500 bottleneck goes into its transmission and clutch materials used. if the body/chasis and the engine can carry based on numbers and specs, then it will all go down to transmission and clutches, because those are the ones that can wear quickly if we overload a vehicle (provided that the engine and the chasis can hande the load). i wish a good mechanic from kia can answer me.
In theory, you can add leaf springs to accomodate heavier loads, but your warranty may be voided due to modifications. But the K2500 and its k2700 predecessor has served the Philippine market for almost 20 years already. So it has the track record already

It's a matter of the wheelbase. The traviz has a longer wheelbase therefore a larger capacity. Performance will suffer though.
