Hay guys, I have a question, there's this thing people keep talking about online it's called outside, i was just wondering if you guys know what it is?
@kuroknight5103 I see this as sometimes it's better to say nothing if it's just a one time problem. You could create an argument yourself otherwise (usually ENTPs sadly). So I think the taking things easy approach also has benefits and more people should be like that as well to avoid many unecessary conflicts. Sometimes there is just no real problem to solve.
facing this doorslam right now with my infj gf (im a guy). and right now, after a month of waiting, I, as an entp guy, will fly to their province and try to woo her down to hopefully talk to me again. wish me luck everyfuckingbodyyyy!
@@zio.eza25 we got back together, and we're still together right now. doorslammed for about 3 weeks. aaaand she's apparently like that. i was so happy after that door reopened. sad thing is, i don't know if it's an entp thing but i'm still sticking with her even if i kinda think this infj girl is just trash. she's toxic and easily jealous, inclined to engage in conflicts, and she broke stuff in my house.
@@joantheresecruz9474 That sounds unhealthy regardless of your mbti types. You want to be with someone who doesn't mistreat you. I'm sorry you're going through this.
The INFJ should really think about installing locks on these doors 😑. But he probably didn't think about it because it's a boring and tiring concrete task, so very accurate.
Ye I'm currently dealing with my infj occasional doorslam 🙄 the good thing is the fact that I'm the only person she has doorslammed more than once, i lost count already ngl.. the others has only dealt with it once because once she doorslammed you ,you basically never existed.. but the down side is the fact that she does it occasionally when she's in that moody moods arghhh ┻┻︵ヽ(`Д´)ノ︵┻┻

@@flatmattress3203 i just hope my infj will come around, forgot to mention, she's my best friend of over a decade and we live together.. she talks to me sometimes but the connection is no longer there, it's like she's only doorslamming me emotionally, I'm giving her some space instead of trying to keep tearing down the door like i usually did lol..that or I'm actually very hurt i can no longer mask it off 😅 I'm thinking of letting her go, but you know, it's really hard for me to feel this kind of connection, I've never commit to anyone this much..so part of me can't let her go.. if i do it feels like I'm gonna die ,well this is quite dramatic 😂 Anyway, from the way she talk, it's like she wants to reconcile but she's really not the type to apologize and step down because it'll hurt her ego, but i can no longer pretend like I'm not hurt so I guess i kinda play her game and now we've been like this for months 🙃
I'm an infj and have doorslammed only a few people (and each only once). Of course I'm someone that needs space if I'm upset, I don't know if that is now also considered doorslamming? I can't actually imagine what is going on inside their head if they truly are doorslamming and not just taking space for themselves to digest their emotions/thoughts. I've doorslammed people because they had bigoted views or they were involved with drugs or they were just not treating me well.
@@ellem8990 yes needing some space and doorslamming is different..when she needs some space , she'd become quiet and barely talks to anyone including her family.. when she doorslammed a person, she's only acting cold and ignoring that particular person but not everyone else.. it's just that my infj bestie admitted that whenever she does that (ignoring me for months) it's because she's considering whether or not to continue our friendship, not because I'm causing her troubles or hurts but rather , she's aware of her jealousy and possessiveness towards me.. 😂relatable yeah see this is what I usually do I avoid confrontation at ALL costs. Not even talking to some ex friends of mine to talk things out with is a go for me or about to door slam to talk to is a go for me😅
Its acctually toxic as fuck dealing with that crap. Cant talk about anything whithout getting doorslamed. Im at a point if an infj doorslams me i go and lock the door. And walk away. Childish weak behaivior.
Doorslam doesn't happen that easily, and doesn't happen because of childish reasons, when they doorslam you is because you crossed the line and you are not taking resposibility for it, besides you are not trying to really solve the problem (very frequetly this type of people just want to continue as if nothing happened). The point of the doorslam is that the "talk" didn't work, the relationship (no matter what type of relationship) didn't work, I mean, the infj tried, but it didn't work because the other person is not taking that seriously, so there's no point for the infj to waste their time with that person, they just take him out of their life and move on, and everyone's happy, maybe the doorslamed one (ENTP) is not happy at the beginning, but in the long time he'll be, the problem is that a lot of ENTPs don't care about all that reasoning and it seems they are the kind of people that feel comfortable with conflict (some of them even enjoy it), so to be honest the ENTP are the ones making this so toxic. If you are the kind of people that "lock the door" after the doorslam, then you are doing the correct thing, what you are doing is going to bring peace to the INFJ.
and I mean, I think people in internet are taking the doorslam as some kind of joke or childish behavior resulting when someone disagree with you or when someone is being just annoying, that's not how the doorslam works, INFJ tend to be very patient and understanding, in real life the doorslam is a serious and definite decision that happens when INFJ has done everything possible to be in good terms, but nothing worked. It is not a decision that comes from a hurt INFJ, but from a logical INFJ.
