Like laminate flooring, QuicTile is a floating floor but for tiles. It’s made of real porcelain tiles. Unlike traditional tiles, you can install this in a fraction of time, it costs savings, and no tiles installation experience is needed. For more info, visit homedepot.sjv.io/mYeBZ
To be clear, this can be installed over existing tiles. I removed the existing tiles, so I didn't have to work around the toilet and the vanity.
Does this QuicTile product preclude using some type of heat system under the flooring?
Thank you brother I have a general carpenter for wood 💕💕💕💕💕💕👍👍👍
hi men good job, good technology
I see you channel in Kyrgyzstan
@@rwind656 Heating under the tile no, under/through the floor yes. Most of the under tile heat systems are placed into morter, so you would need to put it under the floor with a thermal reflective pad for best effect.
@@bradmaas6875 thanks for the reply. I wonder if anyone is going to create one of these laminated backing tile products that has channels for heating in the future.
I saw someone comment that the grout on this would not last, would crack... I guess time will tell.
I’ve been in the trades for 49 years and self employed, licensed, as a carpenter/contractor....actually called a class C Contractor.....in Omaha for 41 years. I watch lots of how-to videos and compliment you on yours. Your descriptions are clear and concise, the production is good (the background music isn’t annoying, thankfully) and I don’t detect a “look at me!! I’m so cool!!!!” vanity. The video is about the work, not the worker. Refreshing.....one of the best I’ve seen. Congrats. Semper Fidelis Dave Heitman dba Dave the Carpenter
you say you are CONTRACTOR OR HANDYMAN for 49 years or what ever...
NOTHING NEW ON THE TILE JOB other than some new MATERIAL.. BUT as CONTRATOR you ought to KNOW
that HOMEOWNER ARE CHEAP. and they are not POOR.. and they tell you they pay you a lot money . and they WHINE that they dont want their STUFF DIRTY and you have to work
on tight areas.. so yeahh you have to be CAREFULL.. BUT YOU DIDNT NOTICE that TILE GUY USED RED CHALK
ON ALL WHITE ROOM
Beutiful job .Especially the toilet Drain cut and to share your mistake is what makes a you tuber like you credible and relatable.
Thank you
Very good
Good bro, with mistakes and all and how to fix the mistakes no one really does that, thanks!
As a professional flooring installer myself, I must say I'm impressed with how well you completed this job. I wouldn't have done anything differently. And I have made the same mistake with the silicone base grout with the hazing issue. Very well done and informative video.
Thanks! I appreciate the feedback.
Hello
same here, comming form a tilling professional, great job, great cuts and tips. would go more in depth for tiles tips, but no need here obviously. you did an amazing job
Actually there is one mistake that probably won’t matter but is key in a big floor, once you pour the self leveling you cannot spread it with anything, you have to let it run it self that’s why you should be prepared and mix a few buckets at the same time
In the midst of installing same product on a 45. Applaud this patient and well handled install. But on a 45 I am not loving this product😆 This is literally a flooring nightmare come true.
Most hard tile installers have no experience installing the floating lock together material...whereas most floor layers who deal with locking vinyl products don't usually deal with porcelain
It's a very unusual clash of two very different worlds
As a pro, this is a real challenge
Enough to make an old guy reconsider his life choices
Kidding, but not kidding😆
Hats off to you though diy guy...nice work, great vid, great attitude❤️👍
I really appreciate the way you point out your mishaps and explain how to avoid them for the rest of us. Best all around DIY channel on RUclips!
Oh my goodness...this is right on time. We just brought a house and need new floors but didn't wanna spend thousands of dollars....thanks so much for sharing 💜
You are welcome!
🙋♂️🙋♂️🙋♂️🙋♂️
Great how you explain the whole job even your little mistakes. Sir, you have gold in your hands.
That's the neatest cut around a toilet flange I have ever seen. It's good to see people taking the time to do a job clean.
It's nice to see that the builder put the tiles down well - it looks like even with the power tools, it took some work to remove them.
Competent & proper technic's, Concise, yet afford enough incite/s, Honesty, as to teaching others how to avoid' your own small mistakes, or unforeseen next steps needed~ All adds up to Confidence in you & your teaching skills... "Every Time!"
PS. I'll be doing the Same work in my washroom so, Many Thanks for this info! Cheer's!
As always, you've done your homework and put out not only a project to be proud of but a presentation second to none. Thanks Glen!
I know how to do most of the work you show, but I don't have your design/ideas skills. So I get a lot of help from your videos in deciding what projects should look like. Thank you for your detail I know it takes more work to include it in the video.
Really like your honesty and thoughts throughout your projects keep up the good work.
Glen, i must say, your home has to be BEAUTIFUL!! With these special skills that you have.
You are amazing. So informative. Much respect & love. I like that ur vids show a smart effecient way of working DIYs.
You can do anything! I admire you
Dude... You are Awesome.
I enjoy your videos and feel you give sound instructions and tips.

I really like ur work. Ur not afraid to admit fuckups or mistakes.🤙🏼 keep em comin.

It's remarkable the amount of effort you put in your videos. SALUTE man!♥️
Thanks
Great job! I love that you took the extra steps to get it right and not cut corners.
Thank you
@@DIYCreators you’re welcome 💚
Excellent step by step instructions.
Another clear and excelent video... Good job.
It’s crazy. I just DIYed a tile demo and everything I researched from hours of looking stuff up is literally compressed in this video. You are doing GOD’s work. Blessed...
What did you spend hours watching other than using a chisel/hammer chisel?
Floor came out great.. nice job.
Dawg look at that video quality. New camera? You are the man.
My son used this grout on a similar type of tile, which this tile has improved upon in the last couple of years. He had a problem with haze as well. It took him a full day with a haze remover from home Depot, using a toothbrush! But I still believe this is a great product, and the end result is stunning. Thanks for posting Glenn.
Everything becomes more wonderful through your hands
My man... You rock! Thanks for your insights and perspective. I appreciate your humbleness as well.
Nice job and you were very informative. I’m having my kitchen redone in a few weeks and having one of these floors installed.
Nice work. Love you how are so open about the difficulties and errors as it gives confidence to those wanting to give it a go. It also means that more people will watch as it is real rather than a perfectly staged installation
After watching so many home DIYs I will pray and manifest for a overall good man and to add some handyman skills. 🙌🙏
Nice job. I really enjoy the way you present your projects. I always learn something new and I’ve been a carpenter since 1975.
Everything you do is top notch and ultra professional.
Great job. Thanks for sharing your mistake on the grout. Super important tip for others that may be installing the same product.
Great tip on the non-cement grout haze remover. Excellent job on the tile cut.
Turned out very nice!! Great to be able to work at ones own pace and not the setting time of tile adhesive!! Ideal for the diyer.
White floor grout... never seen that before!
Nice job introducing easy-do product. Thanks, Glenn
I love the way you roll on projects. Learned a lot on this one; never knew about floating tile.
Very nicely done and explained. Watching you videos is a delight.
Wow,what a excellent job,,nice work and information, thanks
It looks beautiful. You did such a perfect job. And what a great teacher you are.. TY.
this is literally my favorite channel now
As allways..excellent job Glenn
The floor looks amazing and nice to see a professional job. So many tips here, thank you
You are a PRO and a Bro Thanks Guy
Excellent! Direct, clear, honest detailed information on this product. Thank you.
I just discovered your channel yesterday and you’ve given me two ideas already. I think this will be great in our basement bathroom which could really use some updating. Keep up the great work!
Been following you for a while, since about 2015 when I got into woodworking and really got into home improvement. Great work. Never heard of these tiles before, I'm redoing a bathroom soon so I will look into it. Great vid!
That flooring is beautiful! Thank you for this video. Now I know what we'll use when we remove the carpets.
Man, just randomly discovered your channel and I'm LOVING it! You are so talented and so smart! I'm learning a LOT from you! A big hug from Brazil!
Great work. I respect your honesty when you discover an error that was made no matter how small.
This will be a big help to me when I tackle this project. Thanks!
Very impressive video. You did everything with such precision and lots of patience. Thanks!
As someone that has done a few bathroom tile installs, you will almost always get grout haze. One tip is to have another clean sponge and another clean bucket of water (2 extra is even better) to swap during the grout process. Even then you will probably have a very light haze in some areas. Not really a problem, just come back 24 hours after, bring a dry towel and you can buff out the haze with a little elbow grease. Try to stick to the tile and avoid buffing the grout within the grout line. Awesome job though.
Looks good. I didn't know there was a floating tile option.
Though I am wondering how you're going to back light it with LEDs 😉
Haha.
Was thinking the same thing haha
Great video. Thx from Denmark
You did a great job tiling and explaining the process. Really enjoyed this video!
Nice work bro. You make it look so easy for some of us that ain't so handy. btw I'm a fan of your work. Awesome!
U just make every job that u do sooo effortless, hats off to u!! Good job as allways!!
Great work as always
You always make me want to start projects Glen. Looks great!
everything you set out to do is excellent 👏👏
As usual, you make this look so easy. Thank you for sharing with us the problems you had and how you overcame it.
I want to makeover my master bathroom . It’s a 90’s model with the garden tub, double vanities, one on each side of the tub, and a small shower, 32x32. It did have carpet in the master bathroom and I removed it before we moved in and put down a water proof vinyl tile that looks like stone. But now I want to remodel the whole bathroom.
So thank you again for sharing your video.
About to start remodeling my house and let me tell you this video and your laminate hardwood flooring video were savers.
Wow the expertise you have to have is mind-boggling and then to have some kind of error that you speak of shatters me from all the work you do crazy my hat's off to you big time
Nice! I can’t wait to see the bathroom all done!
This is a fantastic product. Easy to install. Great video. Thank You.
Love watching you create great job.
Wow that tile is stunning 😍

Very nice job my man. Always love seeing your work.
Great video and narration! Subscribed!
Great job. I'm looking into this type of flooring, thanks I like it. Most of us usually never plan on getting deep into projects 😜
Beautiful job
Thank you for this one. You make me wanna try it on my own! I feel so confident now!!!
This is a great video. You explain things well, and you also show mistakes/challenges that are real world. I had never heard of this product before but I am going to use it on some sealed concrete I have which is difficult to prep for thinset, thanks!
Looks great thus far. Cant wait for the finish look
