It's no surprise to see a review of this module on your channel, detailed and completed with a custom-made application. Great job and thank you for sharing. Cheers from Europe!
Cheers! Next week's video is on building custom firmware for the device. The end isn't great, as I called it done at 1AM because I had to leave home at 5AM to day to catch my flight. I wanted to show how to use ImageMagick to create your own bitmaps for when it is not detecting the module (or when it detects the module). Maybe next month? (Hopefully I'll update the wiki before then). I'm off to Singapore for vacation and hopefully will be able to upload the next 3 Saturday videos while on vacation.
I hit a snag... the "Video Game Engine" doesn't build in uFBT, which is a requirement. I'm trying to see if I can get the same exception as the "Air Arkanoid" game.
My maze game is included in RM firmware now - github.com/RogueMaster/flipperzero-firmware-wPlugins/tree/420/applications/external/air_labyrinth As I said in comment below, I'll try to work on submitting it to the store on Sunday, so it can be installed in Official firmware (you can build it yourself following the steps in my flipc.org replacement video).
Hi, thanks for the suggestion. It will probably be a few months before I would get to that content. Take a look at github.com/bmatcuk/flipperzero-qrcode and let me know if you have questions. My Discord server is the best place to ask for help, if it doesn't make sense. I'm on vacation for 2 more weeks, so a little slower than normal to reply. discord.com/invite/NsjCvqwPAd
Are you thinking of using it as a remote that controls a robot? Or more something attached to the robot helping it understand the speed/angles of things?
Great question. Sorry, but I have no answer for this one. I think it's a slightly better purchase than an NRF24 only board (since its rare you find a keyboard/mouse in the wild without updated firmware)? Still, I'd probably recommend buying WiFi Devboard, IR Blaster, CC1101 external, and prototype boards first.

Please dont do that cute thing wear the pitch of your voice constantly goes up at the end of every sentence. Its really cringy and super distracting. Please refrain other than that this is super informative and fun
Thanks for the feedback. I'm always trying to improve my videos. My early videos were full of ummms, then I had background sound that was way too loud for some people, crazy loud sound effects in my Jeeves videos, so maybe someday my voice will be more conversational. Thanks for the tip of something to listen for in other videos (I did hear what you are talking about in next Saturday's video, too.)

Awesome overview can't wait till your games and apps hit the catalogs!!
I have a 7-hour layover at SFO airport tomorrow, on my way in Singapore, so hopefully I can work on submitting the first version of the game then. 😭
@@MrDerekJamison Cool and i hope you have a safe trip there and back!!

SWEET VIDEO! VIDEO GAMES RULE! And with the motion sensor, there's so many possibilities
I wish the accelerometer data or pedometer data was also exposed; it adds even more possibilities for the Flipper multi-tool.

Thanks again for doing these
Thanks for watching! Let me know what other Video Game Module video topics you want to see.
Great overview. Will you do a video on how to write apps that use the VGM? I don't really understand how to interface with the VGM in a flipper app.
Yes. I'm on vacation in Singapore, but March 23rd I plan on releasing a video showing how to write apps for the VGM (using the Video Game Engine).
Very nice and informative, thank you.
Glad it was helpful! Do you plan on buying the module? If so, what would you like to do with it?
This moudle is my idea. I am the founder of Flipper Devices @@MrDerekJamison
Holy cow this channel is amazing
Thanks. You can click on playlists if you want to filter to a particular topic.
are you willing to do a video showing us how to set up and create qr code files for the flipper?

Hey I’m trying to do robotics with it. Not sure if that’s your thing but if so, I would like to see what you can do

I look so excited playing Air Arkanoid for the 30th time. 🤣🤣🤣 🤦♂🤦♂
This video from PenTest looks a little more fun --> ruclips.net/video/-qhw9ARjC2M/видео.html
