I wouldn't say everyone forgot, it's just that an awakening sptw can still be block broken, if the sptw is just holding block then they can get block broken and get stuck in a combo. You're better off trying to get as much damage in with the damage increase.
tbh its not even that good considering 99% of people use their spec move as a block break.
