Before those swivels fly apart--- You can just reach in there with a mig and tac that snap ring in a few places and it would never come apart. It's just a weak snap ring coming out of a shallow groove. Of course that makes them permanent so that you can't take them apart at all-- but you shouldn't ever need to anyway. So if you still have a few of them to modify.. I'd try this .......... Or you can just order a snap ring kit and get some stiffer snap rings that really wedge in there tightly. If they are too thick, you can bevel the edge so that it fits in the groove well--- but that extra thickness/ stiffness will help keep your snap ring in place... I'm always modifying my tools. :) ... Once you get into that mindset, you realize that most things can be fixed with a simple change
I stopped using air tools; I just get tired of dragging around my air compressor. I just use the big corded dewalt impact.. or an ultra cheap 12v cordless ratchet. You can do just about anything between the two of them.
