They made out Tiburcio to be a bad villan when he wasnt. He was a hero. They left out all the good things he did and made things up bad things that never happened.
Good ol' Tony! "San Gabriel Mission"?? I grew up there and this the backlot at Republic - NOT San Gabriel! The Vasquez Rocks Park scenes are well done! Been there many times!
A good episode of "Tales of the Century" with Jim Davis and Mary Castle. As noted in the comment below, even six decades ago the San Gabriel Valley in Los Angeles County was developed, so the scenes were taken in a studio's property.
For Railroad Agent Frankie that it was too bad Vasquez could not remember the ten commandments twenty years ago also went for the very evil man who shot Vasquez 's sister to death twenty years ago. He should have left Vasquez 's sister alone. He was even told to go to the American saloon down the street. He went for bad in the Mexican bar and wound up pushing up daisies.
Glen Strange. He was the great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great- grandson of Pocahontas and John Rolfe. Before becoming an actor, he was a deputy sheriff in New Mexico and police officer in Durant, OK. Cousin of Rex Allen, Cactus Mack and Lee 'Lasses' White. He also played Frankenstein. imdb
Certainly just the typical “good guy” US approach to anyone else. US forces are always the good guys? Vasquez had a legitimate Business he tried to run. He was hassled and discriminated against and did nothing but defend himself and his property. All something like this Video does is turn more people against each other. Tell the story from both sides.
Good episode but why did they make Vasquez look dirty Hollywood was very racist in the early ages ..But I liked the episode just why isn't this in the BIG SCREEN.!!!!!!
Watching from NSW Australia.
Thank you for the upload PizzaFix.

Los Angeles sure changed
This Is Absolute Rubbish Tuburcio Vasquez In Real Life Was Bearded
The sheriff here @ 6:37 was Sam, the long time bartender and security guard if you will of Miss. Kitty of Dodge City

not a very good portrayal of Tiburcio
They say that cat Vasquez was a bad mother.
Im still looking for his stolen loot at long gone kingston town.
I didn't know Vasquez was Italian. Anthony Caruso also plays Indian's, Greeks and whatever else that needed an ethnic portrayal.
Franky's hairstyle keeps for weeks.
@John 3:3--Great name. I will not ever finish watching this episode: Matt.23:9, 15; Matt.15:14; Matt. 7:13-14 & Proverbs 16:25
This is all inaccurate
