I got my 452 bolt striped and cleaned to day because of this vid. First time it had been cleaned as my dad never bovered cleaning it and I didn't no how. Instead of using a fired case I used the corner of a table.

What an amazing video! and easy to follow. In fact I was stripping my bolt whilst watching.
However, instead of a used spent brass piece, I used a 3D printed tool.

I use a bit of brass because anyone who shoots rimfire will have some lying about spent .22lr .22wmr and .17hmr casings all work in fact the bigger casings are better than the .22lr . Also must add there is no difference in the bolts for any of the cz455 calibres

Well done, very detailed video. Wasn't sure which sides the extraction parts are to be put in. Now I see. And didn't catch some words))) nice accent

Thanks for this video mate, very useful, but your struggles definitely convinced me to let my gunsmith friend do this for me!

It's very easy there is no rocket science in it and it is defo not a Smith job

@@FieldsportsScotland I know it's not complicated and it's certainly easy to understand the process but I'm a bit lacking in dexterity these days so that's why I'll get my mate on it.
      Cheers from Australia, happy Hogmanay!

Thanks for the info as it's not self evident how to strip the bolt. I use a vice with soft jaws to hold the bolt and a round nosed rod to push in the spring so as to not mark the bolt spring slider, much less faffing than using a spent case.

Thank you, your comment helped me! I agree with you that holding the bolt in a padded vise is better than a third hand! I just reassembled my CZ452 bolt, and the vise is the only way to go! Happy trails! LFF
