I've enjoyed Cindy's music since she sat in with The Wheel on a resonator. Then, of course, on her magical ride with The Wheel. I have followed The Wheel since the 70s and Cindy is, in my never-to-be-humble opinion, the best steel player to grace Asleep At The Wheel. Good singer, too, when the boys would dangle a mic in front of her. Certainly, the prettiest smile and cutest dimples! Thanks for the upload.
i got introduced to cindy when seeing her play with dave alvin and the guilty women .she blew my mind. great singers in her band and her playing and song choices make for a very harmonious whole. thank you !
My favourite kind of video, where we can simply watch good musicians making good music. I enjoyed Cindy's Birmingham Town Hall show with Albert Lee a few years ago and this beautiful, melodic set too, especially the closing gospel of "Salvation".
Wow! What a pleasure to listen to that.
She's so underrated even though she's been a top player and pro for many many years, AWESOME WORK & one super band.
Thank you for sharing this with me Paul.👍🇺🇸😎
