Lancôme Hypnose Drama has been one of my favorite mascaras for years! I return to it again and again. I like drugstore mascaras, too, but it seems like some of the high end ones last longer.

Yes I like luxury and drugstore . Sometimes I get tired of drugstore and want to treat myself. And you’re right I am 47 and I don’t care what brand it is or how expensive it is. It’s not easy with a more mature face so if something works but costs a little bit more I will definitely pay it. 😊
You need to try the Esscense Got A Crush On Apricots Aura Blush. It’s so pretty. It would work great with your complexion. It’s a little light for me now. Hoping it will work better for me in the winter months.
All good stuff! The K retinal is calling my name. I love a soft lip liner from an application point of view, but sometimes they are too creamy and kind of gum up under lipstick. So, I often line my lips after applying lipstick to avoid the gunk. I know, I should blend out the liner before applying lipstick, but sometimes I get carried away. 😂. Oh yeah…you do need to advocate for yourself, R!

I had never purchased anything from Dior, but I love foundation sticks, so I splurged for my bday. I got it yesterday, was so excited to open it, and when I pulled off the cap, it flew out across the room and landed on the hard floor and totally smashed and damaged the top of the foundation. The cartridge was not secured or clicked in, it was just sitting loose inside. For that price, it shouldn't have happened. I also ordered the lys foundation stick and it came completely broken off from the root, I couldn't believe it. Then the Iconic London shadow stick was also completely broken off from the root. I contacted Sephora and they were great about it, but three items from three different brands shouldn't be defective, especially high end and luxury.
That is just so disappointing! It must be from the heat and then going back to room temperatures. The stability of the waxes can change. You deserve an exchange for sure! But if you wanted to salvage it and not return it, you can put it in the tube and warm it up for a few seconds with your hair dryer on low and then hold it in place and let it cool.
