  • Hang out for a few minutes while I attempt to not burn the barn down. This video may be helpful to watch FULLY before tearing down your own 3020 carb. Mainly, just remember to unhook your battery before beginning work on your tractor. Note, I am a complete novice with this tractor. So, you will be learning at the same rate as I am on this project.

    When I take apart carburetors I put news paper on my bench to keep little parts from falling between the cracks in my bench.

      That’s a good idea. I’ll have to keep that in mind the next time I work on it.

      It's a good way to also get the spilled gas out of your shop.

    The new fuel will eventually rune most float valves. I had to replace 5 of them at work in a years time. The new ones can handle ethanol.

      @richfarmer6143  2 года назад +1

      Yeah, what actuates it to pump, though?

      @@Plowboy4960 cool, I’ll have to do a search for it and find out. I do have some books on the 3010, wonder if that’ll be the same carb.

      Good Morning Tim! Thanks for checking in! I ran into a quagmire with this carburetor and decided not to post anything more on it until I get the tractor fixed. I’ll get more in depth on this in the next video, but I appreciate your concern. Hopefully, I’ll be able to dust the camera off this weekend, and get back at er again. Planting time is just around the corner ;).

    Have you ever Caught one of your other tractors on fire?

    • @richfarmer6143
      @richfarmer6143  2 года назад

      Lol, sure have. It was the SMTA. I wasn’t working on the carburetor though. That one had a fuel line that started leaking and the starter cable sparked it. I try to make a habit of not catching them on fire, though. Lol
