- Baldur's Gate 3 is a trip. Ever wanted to bang a Tiefling barbarian tomboy like a snare drum? I didn't think I'd want to, but here I am after having done it myself. 10/10 would highly recommend.
Also if you got offended by this game you are a massive pansy.

I wish Karlach had a better ending.
They did add a new cinematic and option to go to avernus at the end. It at least makes her end a bit more hopeful. It would be cool if we could see that story play out in a dlc or expansion

LOL I mest up by rescuing Hasin from the goblin camp before exposing that shadow druid bitch, now I can't expose the shadow druids oh well.
The 4 person party isn't a hold over from Dragon Age. It's because most 5th Edition content is balanced around 4 person parties. Probably because IRL it can be really hard to get 6 players and one DM.
As they say: Scheduling is always the true boss of DND.
I'm glad this actually has turn based combat. I hate that all those games that keep trying to turn the D&D ruleset into something different.
What's with games like this recently that journalists want to band together and crucify it? First Final Fantasy 16, this game, and now Armored Core 6.
Nobody's allowed to be successful. Well, more successful than journalists. I've spent years around that clique, and a lot of them are jealous of the wealthy and creative.
Regarding the third act...I haven't reached there, but I have heard that multiple times. It seems this is Larian's weakness, because Original Sin II, as good as it was (almost as good as BG3 I'd say), also had a very weak final act (Act IV)
I don't entirely mind the four person party, though there were a few encounters where I felt overwhelmed as a four person party. Five would have been a happy medium.

I'd like to play this game soon because I've been getting into Dungeons and Dragons for almost a year. And the gameplay I've seen on streams so far is that it lives up to being challenging and fun.

Baldur's Gate 3 is overrated, I'm glad people enjoyed it, but I played it when it was early access and this seems like a different game. Not because it's finished" product, it just seems different, even the character creation was more varied in the early access version.

@@BigMicahCI think they’re talking about the annoying buzzing sound that was in the background for the entire video.
Even if we ignore the bear scene, there's still Larian telling their playerbase back in 2020 they're making bland characters, the fact that this is still a WOTC 5E product and no one who's been paying attention to that company should want to support them however tangentially, 'current year' caliber dialogue in some spots despite some characters being rewritten over the years, etc.
