Mary Mary Hi GF 😘 What would my wig party's be without you hosting for me. You are so efficient while I am reviewing. lol I just love you! All the snacks were so good I know. Everyone is so excited to bring stuff and that makes me so happy and makes these parties so fun. Denny is so sweet to drive everyone home and they made it safe and sound. Although I do hear some snoring in the basement so maybe someone is sleeping it off! LOL Thank you so much for all you say in your comments too. I love watching your videos. I always learn something! I like the contacts and the wig. I have light skin and blue eyes and always buy platinum or light blond wigs but seeing you in these makes me want to try a light brown. Always keep on making these. (No one would never know you were 76!) Love you!
Thank you so much, I hope to keep on making these videos and so glad they help you. Hey if you can pull of platinum go for it. I am to olive skin to pull it off. I do not know your age but sometimes even colors that you once wore changes bc our skin color changes. Seems we become more ashy toned and our pigment and face structure changes so changing up a color a little can revitalize us. I love changing it up. Some days I look good in one color and the next day maybe I need something different depending on my skin, and the water I drink and my makeup tone that day. Sunset looks beautiful on you! I love the side swept bang. I have her too and mine is not as nice. The bang is not that full and it is full of permatease. I am going to have to steam her to get some flattened down. I love yours! You are right about going lighter on hair color. I colored my hair a medium / dark auburn. It looks a bit harsh now. The lighter wigs look better now.
Hi Brenda, This wig came in just perfect. Perfect length, perfect fullness and the bang was so easy to cut. I just love it and I love the caramelized brown color. I am into reds lately since Jamie Lynn. Lighter colors are always better as we age bc the pigment in our skin changes and we seem to get more ashy so we have to really watch colors. Hope all is well. Hello Barb! I just found your channel and love your videos. You nailed it on the Merle. I purchased it in pecan delight and it was just a mess. My favorite do far is the Ronnie in pecan delight. I wear it to work most of the time. The Danielle gets lots of compliments. However? I dont feel my best when wearing her.
I did order a new wig in a new color because of one of your reviews . I expect her next week. I ordered Dance in Nutmeg Spice. I had been afraid it would be too orange and inappropriate for work.
I had carrot red hair as a baby/ toddler and then Strawberry blonde as a young child. Now that my hair is coming back in its almost black.
I too have soft wavy hair. I love big hair and flips. But need to look business professional.

Hi Dorene I am so happy that you found me welcome to my channel. Oh my gosh that Merle I looked like cousin it lol yes she went back all right LOL I love my dance in that nutmeg spice ! I just wore her the other day she's not that kind of red hair she's really kind of a Auburn she's beautiful I love that shade! The trouble with Paula Young when you love a shade like that, and I also love that spice coconut that Carson comes in, but they don't make those shades in any other wigs :( they should make them available in all wig styles but they don't. Carson is not a very good wig anymore at all like she was back in the day when I started reviewing her she was full of volume now she's not. I don't know what Ronnie is I'll have to look at that one and see I think I've seen Danielle but I'll double check! Im always looking for new wig styles to buy :) I like the plop and go wigs that's my favorite! Oh Joan this is one of my favorite wigs ever. I have one in rooted in two not rooted. The curl direction in the non-rooted is a little curlier than the rooted one which is crazy but they're both beautiful. And if you want to use an updo on it ...All it takes is one clip in the back and some hairs out on the side and it's absolutely so stunning. When she goes on sale I always get another one of this one I love the chestnut brown I may try her in butter toast once if she comes in butter toast I'm not sure but I love this wig! Let me know ! I, like you, have to have bangs! But, I'm a petite 5'1" almost 78 years young. I absolutely can not wear too much length, or I have a huge head on a tiny body.
I've ordered Jamie Lynn and Dallas. Thinking I might look okay with a little more length. I'm trying.

I have had JamieLynn in my PY cart for so long! I want to get her but I’ve been hesitant because it’s straighter than I’m used to. But it looks awesome on you! Love it with the headband.
You know Marlene I tried this too after it was in my cart forever bc I did not think I could pull off the style. When I first put it on my family actually laughed bc they were so use to my regular styles but after I wore it a few days they all came around and said you know that is cute on you. Sometimes you just have to come out of the box for a change and wear it a few days to get use to it. Not like your own hair that you cut and are stuck with. She is very cute with a headband. My only advice never hit it with a curling iron versa fiber or no versa fiber. I did and it really screwed up the curl pattern which is why I ordered a new one. I am not a huge fan of the versa fibers b/c you can't really get alot of height on them but this one has height so as long as you leave it alone it should be good...but you have to be comfortable. Go to a wig shop near you and try some on that are similar to see if you even like that style on you. I did that and was surprised how many styles I would have never thought I could wear or colors and was pleasantly surprised I could wear them. Hope that helped. Hugs, Barb 💕
That wig is lovely. I liked Jamie Lynn and Nora, too. I found a dark green wig on sale from GlamourTress and ordered it. Now I just have to get my nerve up to wear it. I've been wanting to try a green wig for a long time. It seems to be a good quality wig--lace front and lace part. I've learned that, because my face is wide and my forehead is low, wigs tend to look shorter on me and bangs longer than they do on the models. It helps if the model's face shape is similar to yours.
Thanks Lydia, I like them too. So far all 3 reviews are great wigs... You found a green wig?? How awesome. Just do it, wear it, own it. Get yourself some green contacts and Rock on! lol Face shape is what matters and makes such a big difference when you buy a wig from a picture, and they don't look the same as the model. I have a huge problem with RW because her face shape is like no other and she really looks good in them all but I got burned 3 times on her wigs that look nothing like her in the picture. I was out alot of money bc I bought them at my salon and no refund once I purchased them!! I am not a fan of her wigs. Just me some love her. Hugs and send me a picture of your green wig gurl. My sister is going on 74 (july) and she wears her hair this length. Natural blonde. I bought a long wig by Jon Renau and I could not believe how real the fibers felt, like hair. I may have it cut by a stylist because it's so long but I love it. I've bought 1 Jaclyn Smith wig & wore it out, basic cap & bouncy curls, fit perfectly in average.

One I had was in one of my first videos it was called Peaches and I would love to buy her again! I just can't find the color! I did a review On her in the car at football practice! I also tried to curl my wigs with a curling iron or hot brush. (Metal barrel) It only made them straighter. Then I bought a Hot Tools Hot Air Blowing Brush (plastic barrel) and it worked much better on my wigs. I would love to try a PY wig but their hair colors online look like a matted wet dog. I can't really get a good idea what the colors look like.
Hi Sherry. A matted dog hahahaha Colors online are very hard to discipher for sure. What colors do you usually wear maybe I can help you. PY hair is pretty good fibers. This JS is amazing though! That Versa fiber is killing me. lol So where did you get the Hot toll hot air blowing brush from? I might have to get one b/c she has lost that fullness I loved about her and once I hit it with the curling iron it was all over. I did let her cool first too and it just did not work. I am good with wigs but not the heating ones. When I get my new Jamie Lynn I will play with this one b/c the curl structure is shot anyway. I saw you already ordered this wig. :) So in answer to your question it isn't real flat on top which is what I really like. Connie She is Jamie Lynn in the color Flame rooted. I love her but unfortunately I curled her bc she is versa fiber so I wanted to see how it curled and now I can't get her back to the way she was so I did order a new one. Thank you Cee Cee. No JS is not heavy at all. She weighs 4 oz so it is light on your head. I always tell my daughter my wigs are a lot lighter weight that her baseball caps. lol She is a beauty. You have almost convinced me to get this wig, I think I will get it in the red! One thing I don’t like about purchasing from Paula Young wigs is they never tell you about the amount of permitease. Does this wig have much and if so, where, and what about the sizing? I have a 22 ¾” head, what is your head size?
Hi Chris, a subscriber just ordered this in Auburn sugar rooted and I love the color. I think I am ordering that one next. It doesn't have an enormous amount of permatease to me. It has some for volume and just enough puff but not over the top. I wish there was more on top for some height but it is okay. I wear an average and my head circumference is 22. Hope that helps. I have not looked around at her colors. I am Italian and olive complexion and I pull off the lighter shades. You might be surprised at how good you look in a little lighter color. Just wanted to let you and the posse know that I just purchased Meryl, was able to cut and steam bangs, and she’s cute as can be. I have an oval face and am 67. I also pulled and steamed a little height into the top. Wish there was a way I could share a picture - she’s definitely out of my comfort zone, but I really like her!

I would not go real dark with a fair pink complexion. I love love this Jaclyn smith color of carmelized brown, its so pretty. I am olive skin tone and not much pink so I go for the cool tones. I was just reading some reviews on Jami Lyn on Paula Young's site. A few "con" reviews that concern me are about the bangs. Each person that had something to say about the bangs said the same thing. They stick out in weird directions. Can you expound, please? I know all wigs with the same name are not made equally. I love the length of Jami Lyn. Did you have any issues with the bangs, if so how did you tame them? Thanks.
Hi Sherry , Yes I had a little bit of issue with the bangs. I trimmed them and steamed them down and now they are perfect and lay just the way I like them to lay. Steaming on a synthetic wig is the answer to so many issues. But don't over steam. If you are not afraid to do that then that solves the problem. When I read reviews I always read them with my knowledge of styling and if it is something I can fix or is it a major issue that concerns me. To me that Meryl was a bigger issue than I anticipated. Everyone pretty much picked up after themselves before they left except the ones that needed a ride LOL The wig I had on in that clip was Nora . I did part two of my wig review in Nora. She is very full and the fibers and curl pattern are great. I like her more with a little of my own hair out at the nape. Its a little two short just at the nape but I love her.l I am so disappointed in my Carson's. I love love love that wig and my color spiced coconut, but the last one I really should have sent back but I held on to it to long before I opened it. Meryl was a joke. Omgoodness. One of my subscribers got her and loved her but mine was nothing like the picture. Its hit or miss sometimes with these wigs. My headaches are getting better but not gone.
