    Best realistic sounds as if I had a jungle right in my house. Thanks. Have small spkrs outside also to characterize my whole half acre back yard miniture rainforest. wow

    Fantastic, intense and multilayered. I'm imagining how it would really sound without mix down to stereo. Even 3rd order ambisonic can't really reproduce it. I guess only something like Auro 3d and array of speakers at home can get close to reality. Anyways, wonderful job, definitely inspiring and pushing to try to get to those remote, pristine places

      I recorded this in quad as tree ears, which does sound a bit more immersive. I imagine ambisonics will be even better but you're getting into diminishing returns, and I'm not sure if those mics would survive the heat and humidity.

      @@rosemary77777 those are cicadas, not sawmills. Not ridiculous at all as they are naturally part of the land- and soundscape.
