    Because a lot of us are in self-isolation, these sounds of the outside natural world helps a lot. I always stream this every morning as part of my new routine. To hear the sounds of nature makes me think that we are not that alone and that we are all connected.

      I think Jungle is such an infernal place for a non-acclimated human being (high warmth & humidity, rain, bugs, exotic diseases and parasites, leeches, dangerous animals...) ; But, anyway, i would visit such place once in my life, just because i wanna look how nature really looks & sounds like.

    I remember visiting the jungles of Borneo for the first time. I was staying in a small stil hut on the River Kinabatangan, in the province of Sabah, Malaysia. I fell asleep and woke up to the sounds of the jungles, the night insects buzzing, the lizards running up and down the screen, the occasional growl of a jungle cat.
    I felt like I was in the middle of a National Geographic special, VHS movies I watched over and over from the library as a child. It was a dream come true to experience the jungles like that. I long to return to the rainforest.

      Beautiful to hear your story ♥ I can totally understand what are you saying, as I spent most amazing times in the Jungles. It is so magical. This video is from Thailand forests but I also have actually videos from Borneo on this channel. :) Me as well can't wait to go back there.

    It is so amazing how loud nature can sound... there is of course a white noise picked up by the mic that's a little less intrusive in real life, but still. If you're in the middle of the rainforest without any human intervention around and you start picking up all the other sounds... it's almost deafening, but in a most fantastic way. If you're lucky and spot a Hornbill for example, those birds are sooo loud & impressive. I wish I was there right now. The only upside to hearing this on youtube is the lack of mosquitos 😆

    • @earthfm
      @earthfm  Год назад

      That's right, sound in the jungles can be particularly loud with certain bird species. But loud for all the right reasons, i would say. :)

    Would you consider turning off mid-roll ads for your videos? I don't mind ads at the beginning, and will happily let them play to support the channel. But unfortunately the video doesn't really work as relaxing ambience if it is interrupted by ads every 15 minutes. Thank you for your consideration.

      Sorry to hurt your feelings. :) Yes you are right, it is not a full 1h video, it is looped. The focus here is mostly on amazing jungle sounds that you can hear. I was traveling walking with backpack with very low budget wild camping all these places i recorded to share for free, therefor sometimes it was challenging to record both full video and full sound. People don't realize how much work and adventures is behind this. Anyway i try to get better each time so please follow for more full videos.

    What's that crackling sound in background?? Sounds like bush or bamboos are burning, birds are okay but that other sound is fake, it never sound anything like that in jungle, in mountains small rivers or waterfall roars loud sounds but in plains jungles even streams doesnt create these annoying sounds they almost flow peacefully or stay laying. Way too much sound editing.

    • @earthfm
      @earthfm  2 года назад +1

      It is all the moisture, water drops falling on the ground covered with dry leaves. The sound is not edited except for EQ of low frequencies.
