Seeing all this work going into this film made me realize what a gut punch it must be for the people working on this movie to hear people trashing on this so much. Don’t get me wrong, I think the criticism is valid, I just feel bad for the honest people who put so much work into something like this only for it to turn out so disappointing
It really does feel bad 😔
But I also feel grateful for Josh and Ollie who helped a lot of people acknowledge their arduous work!
not gonna lie i think they should've just make this place accessible for public to come and play around in the area, they would get more money from entrance fee more than the movie
People say the musical was way better , especially in the singing and dancing aspect

I think the sets and costumes and everything but the singing was good. They really did not do good with the singing and dancing and everything to do with music. The actors doing whatever they wanted during routines was not helpful at all and I think that’s what makes the movie so bad.

Gabagu It’s just an hour and a half long version of the trailers, only somehow with LESS plot. And for such intricate work on the fur, the CGI everywhere else in the movie is terrible.
It's the first time I've seen 0/5 stars reviews. I thought they couldn't go lower than 1 lol.
thing is... the plot of cats is just... pretty much plotless. the worst musical that I've spent on. so kudos to the movie for the amazing set and all. rather than the "movie" being a disaster, it's more of "cats" just being ... "cats".

There's an amusement park in Germany I went to as a child, which had a "giant's house" - a house scaled to make grown ups the size of two-three year olds. It was actually a really cool concept
The prop design is amazing, it's a shame that the movie itself is uncanny valley terrifying

They get paid really well for it. To most crew it’s just another day on the job and they’re busy working on the next production by the time the movie comes out.

I absolutely love this! When we got into the choreography of cat movements I was totally into it. I grew up watching the 1998 CATS - the Musical. I loved it so much. Still do. I studied the songs and lyrics, the dances and postures and costumes and makeup. I was obsessed. My parents would come home from work and I'd be in the living room dancing to the moves and singing at the top of my lungs. With my grandparents I was 13 and they had a patio area out in the garage. So that was a lot of room for dancing. I was so upset when my VHS broke 5 years later. But my cousin got me the DVD as a wedding gift 10 years ago. I am so excited to see this new adaptation. Just sad I'll be seeing by myself because everyone in my life is so over my CATS - the Musical obsession and has been for a long time 😹😿😻
