It was 6 the first time, then 12 and then 16, she said according to the distance you've kept between two petals, you need to increase the number of wraps you add around the needle. Hope that helps.

It was really easy and fun.....though mine didnt turn out as pretty as yours partly because the shops here dont sell the threads in much vibrant colours and varieties
+Bilal Butt Medium size frame or small size because its easy to handle.Small size design first at all start with lazy daisy stitch and then go further Insha Allah you will be a good learner and you make a lot of stitches because you are very energetic .
I understand the method but I have great difficulty in which direction I have to take the needle each time and to tuck it in which direction each time. It's becoming like a lump instead of a flower. Can you please help me?

I am confused about how you put in the thread inside the needle,is it that you knot the thread at the middle to form a single strand at the tail?
You pass through the one end of the thread through the eye of needle and tie the knot on the other side of the thread .thanks
