Thanks you SO MUCH for sharing this amazing footage 😍👍🏻 This treasure is driven as it should and man, it sounds glorious… EV fanboys please go ahead and enjoy all those crazy but silent drag races, my heart will remain ICE driven for ever…
It’s what real cars used to sound like, even by todays standards the 365 is not fast at all, a hot hatch can catch it, but its enjoyable…. And beautiful.
They are still fairly quick. It's the old gearboxes and clutches which let them down with the slow changes. These old cars are much lighter than modern stuff too.

Did you get speed tickets? In Austria the absolute limit is 130 kmh on the Autobahn - in contrast to germany - even if it says "no speed limit". The fines are hefty, and dependent on your income, they can even take away your car afterwards.
we have. 130 kmh is the top speed allowed in the "no limit" sections of austrians autobahn. Either the guy got lucky, or - because of stationary radar machines - got the fine afterwards. Those fines are even sent to the country where you are from, if you already left austria.

a video of a model Daytona probably isn't that exciting...

Alan Hunt - And it’ll always be worth more than a hot hatch
Not fast at all? 174 mph top speed, that’s still fast and considering it started production in 1968 that is really fast for it’s time.
They are still fairly quick. It's the old gearboxes and clutches which let them down with the slow changes.

It is damn fast. Especially for the time

As Gordon Murray explained. It's all intake noise. The exhaust catches up at high revs, but the growl is purely intake linked.
Mama Mia fantastico!!! Sounds beautiful singing at high rpm

Bien tenir son volant...sentir tout.... du V12... Un rêve qui se meurt.
If I had this car my friends wouldn't hear from me anymore.
If I had this car, I wouldn't be able to hear my friends anymore
Now this is more like it, the beast uncaged in its element.. the Daytona's engine immortalized the famous "tearing canvas" sound of Ferrari's V12.
Beautiful dash layout in this car,and the sound!
Still the most fun car I have ever driven.
Ja vom Knoten Bruck hinauf zum Tunnel nach Kapfenberg ist noch "freies Fahren" in Ö. angesagt... ;-)
There's no sound like a Ferrari, Scuderia Ferrari. 👍❤🏁🇮🇹
I would have to disagree. I think maseratis sound better then Ferraris.
é incrível que isso tenha só mil visualizações, uma coisa tão fantástica sendo vista por poucas pessoas

Austrian Autobahn? take care for the speed limit.. it's not Germany ! Great sound!
My dad used to own a Daytona but he ended up selling it because it would pay off a lot of debts. He bought it for 100 grand and sold it for 300.

That intake sound... dear lord
It hardly seems right that he's not wearing the famed string-back driving gloves...
No hay nada como un V12 carburacion
Then a Hellcat blows by...then a Tesla flies by both of you...nice sound tho.
I wouldn't fancy an emergency stop at that speed in that car.
I know where this is. Greetings from Austria
It sounds like you are hitting it's G spot....
Beautiful girl you have mate take good care of her 🙂❤ 🇮🇹
Austria has no Autobahn, only Germany!
That was just a teaser. I was hoping you were really going to air it out.

Mostly just a lot of noise 😂, Italian steam cooker 💨
Il V12 Colombo suona meglio dell'orchestra filarmonica di Vienna.

kinda sounds like nsx from the inside
The fantastic driving tour.

Beautiful sound
12 cylinders singing their little Hearts Out .
I get it where the Mclaren F1 got its intake noise from. This is even better.
That is the sound....
ma che bella.

Colombo v12 is the best sounding engine ever.
Hold up, there are other Autobahns outside of Germany?
Yes, Austria does have highways.
Yes, but there are speed limits. (usually 130km/h)
Put the pop up headlights down man!, or is that so you can flash your lights?
It's to flash the lights.
Only on North American cars. European market had gaited in headlights.

Terrible noise, build quality and gas mileage.
alright lol
If this was a vw-golf and it had exactly the same sound - people would be horrified. But when they see a ferrari sign, then it's a melody.

Such fuss for an old car that can't even break 13 seconds in the quarter.
