Hey Tyler, you just touched on something that people may overlook. Everything you are pulling out of the water is helping the environment! People who fish especially in those areas should be thanking you. It’s not lost on me as a fisherman. Those large links are what holds the cars together in the older trains plus 2 pins! Dave
Oh no oh no, that was so funny with the cat claw on the cushion, wiggling its butt, wiggle, wiggle, wiggle wiggle, ha ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha that is going to be the coolest I needed to laugh. Thank you so much. I had such a sore stomach right now. I don’t feel good but laughing made me feel better ha ha ha.🙀😸😸😸
Tyler it's awesome to watch how much fun you have helping clean the environment then getting paid for turning it in❤ Thanksgiving blessings to you and yours. ❤
Tyler you are the King Master Magnet man hope you like complimentyou get better n better . Have a awesome weekend yourself friend? Love ya take care hugs to Owen for me.
Sometimes it is just your persistence that is so entertaining. The aggregate of the finds are only cool because of you. Thanks and much good fortune to you.
I love the excitement in your voice no matter what it is you pull up out of the water. Another great video! Can't wait for the next! Enjoy your weekend.
Cool video! You should keep the trident for your man cave recoveries! Old saws you’ve been finding! Hammer! Chains all of it could be used at your new house
Keep going Fisher you and Alex are doing a great job cleaning up the rivers and lakes. Making some money too. Finding some pretty cool stuff lures , and parts of the railroad. Awesome. Keep up your humor. That makes your videos awesome to watch lol
Awesome finds today Tyler, and Alex. That was a good load that you took to the scrap yard. Those large magnets are cool to watch. Then I thought that it would be perfect for magnet fishing, but you would need a barge to put it on 😂. Have a great day my friend ❤️🙂⚘️.
It's sad to see the scrap prices go down and down and down like they do. Good trip on the water as usual. That boat has more than paid for itself by now I'm sure. Hope the new home is coming along nicely!
I collect beer cans and I can't believe that Hamms can was in such good shape. The only rust is on the seem and the bottom was still shining. Definitely worth keeping. (It has to be from the 50's, older than myself)
Darn good haul there ! To bad they wasn't paying more. But every little bit helps. Not quite ready for Winter this year in Mich. but I hear it's suppose to be mild. You take care to and stay warm this Winter. Have a Happy Thanksgiving ! 🤗👍🏻😊🙏😇
Another great video I like those scrap yard runs clothes are awesome I'm a scrapper I like to see what the price is when you go I live in Massachusetts I can compare it and it seems like you make a little bit more than we do here all right buddy you have a wonderful day enjoy I'll see you on the next one my friend
I swear. I will fly up there just to go magnet 🧲 fishing!!! There are so many different places to visit and so much found at them, rivers, lakes, etc $$$$$$$$$. Another FaB video Tyler (my nephews name 😊). ❤from Texas- Rose
Would you ever consider coming to Dodge County. Mayville and Theresa in particular. Rock river could prove fruitful. Mayville below the damn was the site for the first iron smelter in the state. Could prove good for iron slag. Theresa used to have a dammed area that formed a lake, then the damn was disassembled and the river went back to it's old course. Might be stuff left from that dam
The Hamms beer can is a real find. Maybe a local beer? It was produced before pull tabs - which weren't used until 1959. Until then people had to punch holes with a triangular "church key" or can opener. You can see the two holes on the top - one for drinking and one for letting in air.
Hay Dud. The old timers used empty 55 gallon drumms tied together to make pontoon boat floating docks. They had to half fill the drum with water to make the dock float lower in the water. Over time, a drum/s would rust out, and they would untie it, let sink move the new one into place secure. Good as new again. 👈
OLD fashion wood stove top, right before the wood brace. With you hitting something too big to be hauled up, it might have been the rest of the stove. That Hamms Beer can may be worth a few dollars, since it is still in-tacked and not rusted through. Those notches on the gear are for 'Keepers', or 'Keys', they keep the gear from slipping on the shaft when the shaft is turning. That IS a Train Car Link, part of a 3 coupling link, for a Train Wagons well into the early 1900's. Before automatic braking system were on trains. Nice you also found the Pin for it, and your friend found a train car break. A unique anchor made from an axle from the looks of it. Love watching, you pull up some interesting things.
@20:12. LINK/COUPLING Cast iron link used to join car couplers. It is part of a set of 2 couplers, 1 link and 1 pin. Couplers were used to connect cars to each other. Link and pin couplers were particulary dangerous because the brakeman or switchman would have to work between moving cars to join them up. If an inexperienced person didn't get their hands out of the way in time they could lose a finger or a hand and often did. Also, there were many fatal accidents when men were caught between two moving cars and crushed, 518 men were killed in 1888 alone. Used of the link and pin coupler was prohibited under the Railroad Safety Appliance Act which passed March 2, 1893 and went into effect in 1900. Though some railroads did switch to the safer Janey coupler (pat. 1873) before 1900.
Well, good day, Tyler after all this time you would find those skating blades with the single strap on one of your videos. Those skating blades were made in 1861. Just thought to give you some information on it. Okey-dokey, bro, my friend.😊😊
❤❤❤❤🤩🤩🥳🥳 you made me so happy to see you keep one beautiful, looking horseshoe on your boats that’s beautiful that was like a birthday gift to see you do that my birthday is in four days from today and it’s the third.. Pearl Harbour Day but not the same year🎉🎉🎉🎉😊
Great video as ever T! Some cool finds. Can't believe the condition of that can. One for the new shelf. Does the metal not scratch your truck as the magnet pulls it out?
Did you get those yellow metal chairs on your scrap run? Those are nice chairs and wish I could have one to sit on in summer. My hubby and I love your vids. We have gone magnet fishing, never found much. He lost his magnet twice, first time I posted if anyone with boat gets it they can have it, they got it out and put it beside the water and so we got it back. 2nd time he lost it completely, we know where it is but impossible to get.
Link and pin coupler. Edit to add pre early 1900's. Used exactly how you think. One end in one car insert pin, other end in next car insert pin. The system used today started in the early 1900.
That hamms can is worth money they just started collecting them not long ago for some reason those old cans are starting to become collectibles I myself have a couple Pepsi cans I found in old dump
After all this time, you were not sure if it was a rail road link, Tyler, you already knew what it was or you losing it 🙀🙀ohoooooo oooo oh Oh oh we’re in trouble for sure all of us don’t be losing it man old man, old man😂😂😂😂
The white glass substance on your lamp shade is porcelain it's heating process that sticks it to the metal but now the metal is rusting away is he only got the glass that's pretty trippy may I have to check the fishing line in the trolling motor once in awhile
Alot of those 50gal drums were used under rafts as floats. Probably more of them empty than thrown in full. Any thrown in full would have been years ago and are long gone now.
Hi Fisher hi Alex how are you stay warm be good drive safely please buckle up be safe happy holidays from my family to yours ok I,m your biggest fan of you both I whatch both your videos and I don,t miss any ok keep up the great work ok keep the videos coming ok

Hams the beer refreshing. I remember they had a cartoon bear for their commercials. You would never get away with that today. Like Joe Camel.
The trident was what we called a gig.

8:25. Keep the clamp and clean up. You will find uses on your new farm.
The hammer with the handle , a three day soak in dawn then preserve it with polyurethane after you wire brush the hammer head.
You should have one of the scrap yard guys go magnet fishing with one of their magnets. 🤣
10:59 Who sang that line along with Tyler... Hamms. The Beer refreshing.... Hamms

We have been watching your video’s and been pretty entertaining. Keep ‘em uploaded.

I think the saddest thing about those drums is you guys continually hauling mud into your boat needlessly 😂❤
21:45 😅😅
It's enamel! It would make a great planter at your new old place!!!!
Fascinating never seen scrap unloaded like that before and i am an old lady 😅😅
12:59 2025 Is two years from now!!! WHEN WAS IT MADE? How is it best used by THEN? That's crazy!!!

Hamms was sold all over. We had it here in Texas. They stopped making Hamms back in 1997.

At 29:31 it looked like the crane magnet was dragging one of your ropes with a magnet, or possibly the hook. Did you get it back?
I did!
🔥🔥🔥
Great video as ever T! Some cool finds. Can't believe the condition of that can. One for the new shelf. Does the metal not scratch your truck as the magnet pulls it out?

I haven’t been back there in a while!

Great video! Do you keep a running tally of the weight for the year?
I keep track in videos but on paper I'm not sure! I'd have to go back and add them all up!
What are you talking about when you said this is another trout line thing? What does that mean?
It's almost like if the fish were using a can opener underneath the water
That’s a chamber pot lol my grandparents had the same colored bucket that they used for a chamber pot lol 😂😂
That anchor looking thing, looks like an old wringer washer agitator maybe...
