Overused his head voice too much, make his lower register too airy and his upper register lack support (so he strained). This song is very hard to sing though, a lot of idol singers' covers of this song are bad... He did slightly better than other idols.

I think he was sick during this performance, He sounded very raspy and nasal and had a hard time catching his breath.
