    The detail on this charm is just beautiful, as is ALL of your sculptures. I love how you added the vining tendril coming out of the nose socket. Awesome work! ♡

    Hi, question, so it's okay to bake the clay multiple times? :O

    • @MaiveFerrando
      @MaiveFerrando  8 лет назад +2

      Yes, it is :)

    • @okuakimaiko

      Thank you for replying! Also can I bake the clay with the hook for the necklace already in it? Will it melt? Sorry for asking too much, I'm planning to start making my own accessories too

  • @pixelunknown7717

    Ok, question- I use polymore clay, but it always ends up burning and discolouring whenever I bake it. Also, is it alright to bake it afteryou`ve added paint?

    • @pixelunknown7717
      @pixelunknown7717 7 лет назад

      BTW I love your crafts!

    • @MaiveFerrando
      @MaiveFerrando  7 лет назад +5

      Hi there, well it could be that the temperature was too high, because polymer clay doesn't really burn when left longer in the oven IF at the right temperature, it may darken slightly, but not burn. You can bake it again after you've painted it with acrylic paint, I've done it before and never had a problem. It's different if you mix polymer clay and acrylic paint, the acrylic paint sort of burns off while baking and it will crack your polymer clay, but that's only if you mixed them. Hope this helps :)

    can I use air dry clay?

    • @MaiveFerrando
      @MaiveFerrando  8 лет назад +2

      I don't use air dry clay, but if that's what you have/like, I don't see why you couldn't. I'm not sure it would be great as jewellery though, it might a lot weaker than polymer clay. But try.
