I also recommend Eckhart Tolle's Stillness Speaks. It explained why I felt such peace in Nature. Quote: "we have forgotten what rocks, plants, and animals still know. How to BE... "To bring your attention to a stone, a tree or an animal does not mean to THINK about it, but simply to perceive it, to hold it in your awareness. Something of its essence then transmits itself to you. You can sense how still it is, and in doing so, the same stillness arises in you."
Thank you, Thelma! This is one of my most treasured books and one of my favourite quotes, which I share in this video: ruclips.net/video/rVy4CWEhtuI/видео.html 🙏🥰♥
The Unteethered Soul is one of the best books I have ever read. I had a lot of loss of family members and found it to be better than any grief books I ever read! I absolutely love your videos and they help to center me. You have so much light, beauty, serenity and warmth. A true gift to us all! ❤
@@AyaSmith-rb2hp How interesting! I really appreciate you sharing that about how it was helpful to deal with grief. What a joy to wake up and see your comments this morning! Thank you for your kind words. 💕🙏🏻🥰
An absolutely stunning video. I will def try to get a copy of The Untethered Soul. My first life-changing book was The Power of Now. I read it at a time when I was filled with self-doubt. After I read about the "pain body," an energetic field which we mistakenly identify with, I disengaged from these dark feelings and told it to go. It was like a dark, heavy cloud that left. I felt much lighter afterwards. Another book I recommend is Oneness by Rasha. It describes how our perceptions of ourselves and the world change as we awaken. "By consciously choosing, in one's darkest hour, to reject the vision of hopelessness that seems inevitable, and to choose instead the knowingness that the outcome will reflect your highest possible good, you open the doorway within to the place of loving trust that will lead you home."
Thank you so much for your wonderful sharing, Thelma! I’m intrigued to look up Oneness - love the title. Do let me know what you think of the Untethered Soul…💜🙏🏻🥰
I never knew a book could have such a direct and profound impact as Untethered Soul had on me. It really connected a lot of dots and tied a lot of things together that I'd been kinda trying to piece together for a while now. I hope this video reaches all of the people who need to find these books. Having read two of them, I know what I'll be reading next! You really do have a way of explaining things, even your short narratives helped me better understand what I gained from the books.
Thank you, I certainly hope the same thing, and I especially thank you for your suggestion to make this video! It’s always a delight to share the insights that transformed my experience of life. I’m thankful that you have gained so much from them too. ♥️🙏🏻🥰
I love Michael Singers book ‘The Untethered Soul. I love ‘The Power of Now’. I just downloaded on Audible ‘Practicing the Power of Now’ and ‘Coming Home’. Thank you for these wonderful recommendations !
I will certainly read the other books you suggested too… I read The Power of Now with the practice . I read it before without that. I’m sure the practice will be very helpful. I will have to read Coming Home, it seems very appropriate at this time of soon turning 66 and making changes for my years of freedom. Thank you for your wisdom and loving presence! ❤
@@AyaSmith-rb2hp Thank you for your lovely comments, Aya. I love the expression you use, your “years of freedom.” This is has been my experience in my fifties. ♥️🙏🏻🥰
I belonged to the Booknotic group. The Untethered Soul was one of the books in the groups. I listened to this in a hypnotic state … if that makes sense. 🤷♀️ I enjoy the Wisdom Cafe as it has exposed me to different ways of thinking/understanding. I was not a fan of Tolle until I actually listened to him and read, through you, some of his writing. I’m coming around in my thinking. 😊 It’s about time, isn’t it?
That sounds like an interesting group. Did you get anything from the book? It’s good to stay open but I always say to follow the wisdom that resonates with you when it comes to spiritual mentors. 💜🙏🏻🥰
I love this video Aliki, I feel ive known you for years, i have but many more, coming homing im going to buy 100%. What to do when you dont know what to do is a good one. The one thing. The go giver. i need more surgestion from you aliki. Future videos, how about a book reading day where you choose a book from the subscribers and we choose 2 chapters for you to read weekly with us, But i love the voice over so if it was done in a voice over with text and music like you do will be brilliant
@@popeyecoaching I’m glad you enjoyed it! Let me know what you think of Coming Home. Thanks for your recommendations. I’ve read The One Thing and enjoyed it. I love your idea about the voiceover but I think it may be a copyright issue if I read out more than a few quotes from a book. ♥️🙏🏻🥰

@@AlikiReddy .. interesting! You used the same Tolle quote in your beautiful video, The Healing Power of Nature. We seem to be on the same track.😊
