I always thought if Sting landed this for real especially on a hard surface it could really hurt someone.I don’t think people should do this for fun unless they know what they are doing
More of a dragon sleeper from Ricky Steamboat or Ultimo Dragon.. Sting would break a neck if he held on when he dropped, instead, he lets his momentum and swing and let them fall using their own body weight on the back of their head... makes a good knockout
Really he’s just a chill guy. He don’t mind helping out. He enjoys it really. My next video in this series he’s better at so I think I’ll have him do and I be the dummy.
Yin&YangTSD I plan on it. My 40th birthday is coming up and I’m trying to arrange a kick off challenge with another guy at the dojo. He’s been working too much so haven’t seen him in awhile but the guy is a phenom. 60 years old and makes you and I look like like children. And you know we got some kickin skillz
Oh yeah he don’t mind. Real chill guy. Great martial artist. I can’t beat him in a match either striking or grappling. That’s why I go to his school. I know I’m a good fighter, a good martial artist, and a good weapon practitioner. So I chose the guy I can’t beat to train with. Most of the weapon stuff I do he taught me. I’m better with a sword and nunchuku than he is but that’s it really. Put some sai in his hand and he trumps my sword. But that’s what it was designed for so he’s allowed.
Man I've always believed that this move could legitimately F somebody's ass up ( technically their neck ). But I also think there's a good chance in a fight, that some crazy MFer would try to bite your tricep in desperation when you went to put him in the " reverse ddt/dragon sleeper hold part " of the move lol. Then you're left with having to go to the ER to be treated for whatever rabies type BS this frothing POS has..😬
If done right either the armpit is against the neck so they can’t bite or the back of the armpit is against their nose on that pressure point so biting wouldn’t be and option. If not done right and they start biting then fine. I’ll be on antibiotics and they will be in a wheelchair for life from a broken neck. I’m not too concerned. Biting happens in a fight sometimes.

Nice! I love that your instructor is humble. You'd think he would be like "No I will do the techniques and lead it" much respect to the both of You!
Yin&YangTSD maybe if he taught me this he would but he didn’t so I’m better at it. He’s a cool guy though.

He sounds like a great instructor! Please keep the videos coming!

Yin&YangTSD actually he might be 62 or 63 now. Either way I can only pray I’m at that level at his age.
I love that your instructor was cool with being demonstrated on. Good demo.

He didn’t teach me sword. Have to clarify. He got me started on nunchuku, I passed him up pretty quick with them.
If you ever actually dropped someone like that they’re probably not getting back up. Scull or neck fracture, concussion, or dead.
That’s the idea
Nice work.. Battousai
You gotta catch me first smokey! 🏃♂️
That’s what the 357 is for. I ain’t runnin 😏

Nicely done brother. Now that pesky elbow brace won't stay on for 💩
Yeah I need a new one. This one is a couple years old now. The Velcro done died. And thanks man.
Wwe Sting this move is very dangerous and risky injury on neck
I know. That’s the point.
