Went two weeks ago to Tigers game against Giants in Koshien too. It was absolutely amazing. We germans go cracy when Football (Soccer) games are played in the stadium. But this was next level. The game and the cheering was absolutely awesome. Best day of my three week trip. I can only recommend to go to this stadium and visit a game. Better go earlier and visit the Koshien Stadium. If you know the excact date in advance, you should book the ticket in advance and also Koshien Musuem with Stadium tour. The Tiger vs. Giants game was completely sold out in advance. So be quick.
Absolutely agree! We’ve watched videos of how baseball games in Japan are like but definitely can’t beat being there experiencing it ourselves! Hanshin Tigers’ supportive fans are one of the main reasons why Tigers games are great to watch, especially in their home ground! We went early in the season and bought the tickets a month earlier. Now that the Tigers won the Central league, tickets for their games will be in higher demand.
