McCall just wanted to see what kind of man he was. And McCall saw a scared little boy playing at being a tough guy. The same guy he messed with in the restaurant.
@sanzentaru that smile is because he knew dude fucked up by trying to defend himself with a knife when he witnessed his skill. Hell, I laughed at that too!
I think a lot of people overlook the line, "the front doorbell is broken!" McCall likely sabotaged that doorbell and lurked by the back door for several minutes so that Dave and his crew wouldn't be made well aware of his presence at Dave's estate and so they couldn't premeditate a way to outsmart McCall at that time and capture/kill him right then and there.

Mr. Denzel Washington is a true gem. Great actor, great personality. Doesn't get involved with political bullshit, loves same woman for years. Very grateful to enjoy his work. Thank you Mr. Washington.
It’s two very very different characters. McCall is a strait laced, OCD, highly lethal weapon strong in his convictions and determination, esp what he believes is right and wrong. A true believer. Creasy is a broken down alcoholic taking any job he can, whose affection for the little girl brings him back to a livable reality. All to sacrifice himself for her well being
Also, 19:20 I can't believe a guy like this ever allowed a person to point a gun in his general direction. As soon as he drew it from his pocket it needed to be high and clear of any line on DW.

I'd pay to watch Denzel read the instructions for putting together a piece of Ikea furniture.
One of the best actors in the past 50 years if not more
50????? Naaah. Maybe 20.
Denzel has been one of the best if not the best since late 80s
He is one of a kind in world cinema,❤❤❤ Waiting for Equaliser 4 and 5 ❤❤
He wasn't making a movies 50 years ago,lol
not better than toby McGuire
“See you at work!l” always loved that line in that scene.
100% Best line, I think, from all 3 movies. Couldn't agree more.
along with the finger guns

When you pray for rain you have to deal with the mud too….CLASSIC LINE 😊
My belief is Denzel is probably the very best actor of his generation. Even if the movie isn’t great, Denzel delivers a phenomenal role.

My absolute favorite thing about his encounters is the good one's look at their watch constantly. Trained right trained well, timing is everything.
Love that first scene. The finger guns are funny
Ol Denzil is a baddass ,great screen presence ,love his films
Only get to do it once..Savage.. 😂
The best thing about the 2nd clip is the body language. Denzel is chilled and laid back, the other guy is gripping the table.

Man on fire was an absolutely great Denzel movie!! Love that guy..
Great Movie…
Under the bridge scene was brutal….!
Creasy Bear…what an awesome movie
And the book by AJ Quinnell it was based on is even better!
Phenomenal acting
He's great at playing a broken man trying to redeem himself. "Flight"
