True..............very well said. Violin represents the strings of sentiments in the human heart. But unfortunately your appeal will not come to fruition as they have thrown out melody and tragedy together. Alas! that's the truth.

This was once a rich tradition where there was weight in Evey production related to the film world including music, lyrics, story, direction and acting. Now the whole atmosphere has been filled up with helium gas and it’s floating up in space like a confused balloon that drifts off wherever the wind blows. Even on the world of singing high tech equipments have replaced the need for basic vocal training and auto tuning and effects have engulfed the recording process. Quantity has replaced quality and low overhead mass production inflated everything at a scary level.
Yes indeed...they were barely 15 violinists but they were the heart behind the song itself...String and brass were gave much weight to older songs..till early 2000s they were still being used in hindi movie songs...what would Shanker Jaikishen and Laxmikant Pyarelal be without their fabulous orchestra!

Flute in the original is really tough though sounds very simple. The flutist in the orchestra is close to the original. Thums up. All the musicians in the orchestra have done a wonderful job.
