Hi Mr. Joel, I have a question do you also have other RUclips channel’s? Reason I ask is because I was scrolling g through my feed and there is a RUclipsr by the name of DarkAce Animations that sounds a lot like you. Just wanted to let you know just incase it’s not you is all 😉Oh almost forgot he or she is selling merch as well 😱
Let me add to that, in terms of the second story which I just finished. Listen to your gut, and not your parents if they're telling you to ignore it by calling you paranoid or imaginative. Or, a better one- listen to your gut and parents, listen to your children when they tell you something is wrong.
Worst thing is people too often convince themselves they are just being paranoid or don't want to seem rude. We have animal instinct for good reason. Use them. Always.
Sadly, the drunk naked guy who apologised for going into the wrong room was a lot more decent than so many sober guys would have been in the same situation.
I just love how you narrate. It feels… normal and right. I feel relaxed and can breathe- if that makes sense. Some other narrators’ style just doesn’t work for me. I still listen but want them to quickly finish or just can’t even listen to them at all. Thank you “Let’s Read” for being you!
The one about the petrol station reminds me of the "there's someone in the backseat" urban legend - where a woman goes to a petrol station and the attendant seems super creepy and tells her her card has declined and needs to come inside to call her bank. But turns out he saw that there someone in the back seat of her car. In some versions she goes with the attendant and is safe, but in others she thinks he's a threat before he can tell her what's going on so she drives off, leading to her being murdered by the real creep in her car.
@@Emily-lh6em Hey again haha. Thanks as always:) I was actually featured on his recent video about Uber driver's. I narrated the last story. Mine was paranormal of course:)
The one with the pink Floyd song led me to search for it and just imagining that song play outside your house at 3AM gave me goosebumps. I haven't had a story give me goosebumps in years. Great episode!
Thank you for your continuous hard work, Joel. Yet please still do at least 1 livestream a month, that's YOUR speciality, please don't lose your uniqueness. ❣Carlito alter ego.❣
The world’s best 7 year old detective with a better sense of surrounding and memory than a mother. As a parent of 3 kids… I’ll be my life they have ZERO idea of what’s going, even at 17 if their life depended on it
You know they make a/c come standard in homes right? On the thermostat all you have to do is turn it on cool and turn the temperature down to what feels comfortable. Super cool stuff
I worked at Home Depot (loved that job) in the RTV (return to vendor) department. It was set up as a cage with metal fencing off the side of the shipping and receiving area. Each department had its own buckets and it was my job to get credit for the company for defective merchandise. There were 10 different departments, so lots of buckets and you couldn’t see into the cage. That day the millwork vendor came in. I was working at the computer that faced away from the buckets where he was standing. He said, “I’ll give you credit for everything here.” I turned around and said, “Cool. I’ll print it out.” When I turned to say that he was standing there with his pants unzipped and hanging it all out. I turned back around quickly and felt like I was going to faint. I just said, “Ok I’ll see you in a couple weeks” and couldn’t make eye contact as he left. I told my store manager and he sort of laughed and said, “What do you expect?” WTF? Well I don’t expect that to happen. I called the vendor’s company and told them and they just said they’d look into it. It wasn’t until he did it to a cashier that they took it seriously. He wasn’t fired. He just wasn’t allowed in the store anymore. I was floored by the lack of response to that creep.
That’s absurd that your manager just said “what do you expect?” Uh, I expect people to refrain from flopping their junk out randomly in my workplace. Nobody needs that. Then his employers do nothing also?! What the hell. Guy exposes himself publicly and people are just like, “that’s just how he is! Whippin’ the ol’ limp member out for anyone he likes! Go figure!” *shrug*. Unreal. Isn’t fired, isn’t arrested…sorry that happened to you. My temptation if someone flashes me is to laugh and say “is that it? Disappointing.” Deflates their pathetic little balloon immediately.
Omg, story 6 made me remember a similar thing that happened to me a few years ago - I was living with a roommate who went out to party a lot, but she never brought home guys. One weekend I got home really late and I guess she thought I wasn’t there at all, because the next morning I wake up and go into the kitchen, and there is a random half naked strange man standing there. He was like “hey”, completely chill, and I almost screamed before I realized what was going on, because my roommate quickly came out from her room and walked the dude back in there. Looking back now it’s funny but I was really scared for a moment there lol
Thank you to the person who drove the young girl home. It quite easily could have been one of my daughters in that situation. Things happen and sometimes your left stranded. XOX Luna
With my experience, getting random rides isn’t always that bad. I hitchhiked all the time in HS and college and only had a few bad experiences. Honestly still better than Uber. Lol.
@@FinnMcK23 she never said it was. She said that because yk sometimes when people see other people in dangerous situations or just outta fear when people ask them for rides they tend to say no because they’d rather stay out of it rather than to be brave and help.

Sorry, mate. I only like ghost stories, and you never do them anymore. I’m gone.
I love the app! Would you ever consider a competition or something where a subscriber could narrate a story for you? I’d be soooo up for that!
@@rhysobrien2439 I prefer the ghost stories, ouija board or haunted house stories too - but still love listening to THE VOICE. 👻

Honestly respect for him keeping as respectable as he was in his drunken state, I’ve seen MUCH worse in my time as college security.

I know what you mean. Some voices are just too much to be able to relax and just listen, especially if you are trying to sleep.
I seriously love when he does the different voices for different people in the stories, it seriously adds so much to the storytelling.
