I just came to the comments to say how made up that story sounds. I'm about to skip it because it's so ridiculous. I don't believe a word of it other than "I went to art school".
The art school story sounds way to over the top and not believable at all. What tipped me off was the “red and blue” lights. Sweden only uses blue lights. Red and blue lights can occur when you’re being pulled over. Second, cops don’t behave like that at all and knowing 112, while the operators are usually dense and rude as all hell they won’t behave like that all. This story sounds so far fetched and is so bad that I’m wondering if the author even did research because I refuse to believe this is a “true story” because if it was it would love been all over the news. The person telling the story DOES sound delusional and crazy. If it is true then I believe that they’re twisting the actual story so much that it has become the way it is right now.
This entire time I was itching to write, "ladies, get your concealed carry, learn your weapon and always be prepared!" And then 34:27. I sighed relief. That woman @35:15 was a hero. I bet she dreaded a day like that, but she saved someone that night. Be well, ladies and gentlemen.

I was thinking it was fake or the person is schizophrenic. I had a friend who thought people was always after her and she had all these ridiculous stories. Sometimes we would be together and see the same things but her story was always way off. I found out from her dad she has schizophrenia and she believed the government is sending people after her. She’d be normal sometimes but when she wasn’t it was really confusing and draining trying to get her to realize she’s seeing and hearing things. At one point the government sent me. I had to stop talking to her because of her disorder. I do miss the normal her. That story reminded me a lot of her.
@@AshleyAshleyAshley395 My brother has schizophrenia. I had to cut ties 18 years ago. I took him to a voluntary inpatient place and when we got there he said they were going to kill him there so he refused. When my dad died he said I was hiding my dad up in Oregon and he’s not really dead. The crows and animals talked to him. The government was watching him and people that had mailboxes mounted on brick pillars were part of those watching him. He pulled his eyelashes out as a kid chronically. He had notebooks upon notebooks of just random alphabet letters written in them, like “XRWOPDKL,” stuff like that. He picked up a trash can and beat me with it and I didn’t even know why. You need to pass a background check in order to guy a gun from a dealer in all states and you can't own one if you're a felon or have been charged with a violent misdemeanor or if you've been declared a danger to yourself or others. There is already enough gun control and criminals don't follow laws anyway so all you're doing by restricting access to them further is making it harder for law abiding citizens to be able to defend themselves as effectively as possible.

Stories like this are the scariest because they are real everyday life. I ride Lyft quite a bit and this stuff is my worse nightmare. I had a scary incident once so, this gives me the creeps for sure. Be safe in these ride shares y'all. Carry protection and kick ass when needed. Peace!
The guy on the train also creeped me out. I live in Scotland.. and we aren't allowed to carry things like pepper spray, or a gun.. chills me to think what I would do in that situation!
I too live in a country where carrying a weapon, or even pepper spray, is illegal. Benefit of Covid: It's completely normalised to carry spray-on hand sanitiser, and they make little bottles you can hang on your keychain. It's not as powerful as pepper spray for sure, but will still temporarily blind a person giving you a moment of opportunity for escape. 😉

Story #5 wow that’s sad. Not even the police believe the girl.. the stalker did the most.. I’m glad it stopped! God bless that girl I hope she’s doing better and it hasn’t started again.

The first story...the cop didn't radio dispatch the plate number? I feel like that's their first move to have that documented and then they go in to look for people..
“We weren’t allowed to go to the hospital and by the time I got there the signs of abuse were gone” did the writer really think anyone would believe such bs

Loved the podcast all over again it’s like every time you upload i get so happy to hear more entertaining scary stories plus your the best in the game on RUclips and haven’t been topped yet and I don’t think you ever will 😊 Joel (let’s read)!!!....
Perfect! Still got 2hrs to burn! Outside cooking a brisket!! Thanks guys!! Texas in the house!!
I see u Texas, get it girl brisket is da bomb😍😍
@@jamiethomas5184 thanks
There is something about the last reader that makes me want more
The story with the 9 year old girl.. who used to go to her dads tower to make calls to her mum etc .. I found chilling! The fact he just turned up at their house etc WHAT A CREEP!!!!
Holy hell, that train lady was awesome! I know having a pistol gave her an advantage, but it took guts to actually put herself in a situation where she might have to use it.
I can't tell if the paint story is real, a very elaborate delusion due to some kind of mental health issue, or completely fabricated. Either way, I hope if whoever wrote that gets the help they need.
"the woman leaned over to me, and whispered I have a pistol." Yeah! The 2nd amendment!
Anti gunners don't realize how important guns are to women's safety, if guns were banned women would need to rely on the police and when seconds matter the police are minutes away.
@@1810jeff Heckyeah! In the UK, a mother was carjacked at knifepoint. Here in the US, a gunman held a mother and her daughter, and several other families on a sidewalk outside a school. Little did he know, the mother had a gun of her own. BANG shot the guy in his neck, fell like a sack of potatoes.
@@joshku7488 They're called equalizers for a reason
@@1810jeff Gun control advocates want gun control and background checks, not to ban guns. People just want criminals and people with a history of mental illness or domestic violence to not be able to get guns.
@@displayer6023 You know that's already a thing right? You need to pass a background check in order to guy a gun from a dealer in all states and you can't own one if you're a felon or have been charged with a violent misdemeanor or if you've been declared a danger to yourself or others. There is already enough gun control and criminals don't follow laws anyway so all you're doing by restricting access to them further is making it harder for law abiding citizens to be able to defend themselves as effectively as possible.
Oh yeah! Miss you're live streams!! Guess you still recovering from the birthday 🎉 stream 😂!
"And since none of us needed a dried up cat at the moment...."
Like what? Lmao
I laughed so hard at that haha
WoW, this latest bunch of stories are top notch. Great job.
ITS COMING HOME! 🏴
I’m subscribed to Chilling looks amazing and awesome content I’m hooked can’t wait for more to be added 🤗thanks for the amazing content and narration of your awesome videos can’t stop listening to you 🤩😊🥰
Stories like this are the scariest because they are real everyday life.
I ride Lyft quite a bit and this stuff is my worse nightmare.
I had a scary incident once so, this gives me the creeps for sure.
Be safe in these ride shares y'all. Carry protection and kick ass when needed. Peace!
RAY IS EPIC DUDE THEY REALLY SAID “No❤️🔫”
The guy on the train also creeped me out.
I missed watching your content and I was so sad to see less frequent uploads of stuff I hadn't heard so joined the chilling app to hear you narrating 😌
bless you chilling family 🙏💜
It's really hard listening to anyone else after you been listening to Joel. I've tried and there are a couple that are ok. But rather than do that I find myself relistening to the ones I haven't heard in years. You set the bar high Joel my brother
Fabulous!! Thank you Let's Read❤️
An hour and seventeen minutes?! You spoil us
I will be downloading Chilling immediately! I love your stuff... I am a horror addict! Thank you!! X
You are truly, my favorite narrator!!! 💗
I never got bored of listening to these allegedly true stories. Morbid curiosity. It's just too much. Mad.
ayo the woman on the subway is goated. and don't even get me started on jack. mans is literally unearthly.
Love these stories , Thanks for helping me always start my mornings !!
Thanks for the upload!
His voice. Oh, my God, it's so calming...
HE WAS NOT MY UVU JAVER
I've never searched for an app so fast. Excited for more stories...
I SWEAR I can't study well if I'm not listening to Let's Read or Being Scared.
Yessssssssssss💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙
Bad bye
@@jamiethomas5184 Yes Christian! 🤘🏽👏🏽😎😃
Just subbed to Chilling on my phone -- LOVE IT! Only issue is that my phone is having technical difficulties and started playing a few notes of the creepy music like an hour after I'd closed the app. Scared the crap out of me!
The story about the woman being followed happened to me when I was about 14.
New sub here, man you have a great voice for these stories, keep it up!!
Last story managed to genuinely spook me out. You'd think after years of listening to scary stories that ghost stories wouldn't phase me anymore, but Lets Read manages to make even the most unbelievable stories creepy
EDIT: The story was actually narrated by Fear Street, kudos to him
That wasn't Let's Read, that was me:) Look in the description and it tells you and has my channel link.
I just downloaded it! I listen to you religiously every single night so im definitely down to give it a try! ❤🙏
Is that a banana in my pocket or am i just excited Joel dropped a new vid? :)
I LOOOOVE YOU!! THANK YOU FOR BEING YOU!!
I'm really not sure the Sweden one was real to be honest! The rest were great though 🙂
I didn't no any were real
Story #5 wow that’s sad. Not even the police believe the girl..
the stalker did the most.. I’m glad it stopped! God bless that girl I hope she’s doing better and it hasn’t started again.
Honestly, it sounds like it was written by someone with a serious case of paranoid schizophrenia. I don't believe it for a second. Especially the cops not believing her and "Anna" getting someone to admit themselves into a mental hospital JUST to stalk a girl they likely didn't even know.
Yeah let’s go new video
Love your voice, very articulate
ive listened to countless hours of this guys channel and i wish i still got the "scared" feeling from watching, but i guess i got use to the creepy storys, the only ones that still get me and i find the most intriguing are the paranormal/ unexplained ones
Alright Joel, this is gonna be good...👊👊
Ive never took an uber before..😅😅
The best and worst parts of my day are; when you upload and when it's over 😫
Seriously, you make my long lonely days and nights easier to deal with.
Lonley nights are the best
@@jakemcdonald4677 They are sometimes, but not always for me, personally.
The first story...the cop didn't radio dispatch the plate number? I feel like that's their first move to have that documented and then they go in to look for people..
Can't waiting to get chilling!❤
I call BS on the Anna story.
“We weren’t allowed to go to the hospital and by the time I got there the signs of abuse were gone” did the writer really think anyone would believe such bs
Chilling is absofuckinglutely worth it
Just in time, I was looking for a new video!
Ha used the chilling app bought the sub for it and love the gloom ambience lol makes stories wayy more intense while stoned absolutely loved it haha❤️
Wow happy seeing your upload 😍
Plus always on time
Love your content let’s read keep it up too.
Outstanding! 👏🏻
The train lady had a random pistol?😂😂 she gangster!!!🙏🏼❤️
Hell yea! I always have mine, and its saved my life twice
The person that wrote the storage story... Very funny sense of humor...could easily be an author 😊
The art story is funny as hell
These people frustrate me who falls asleep in a user unless drunk, than goes into a dark building .
Had to stop editing so that l listen to this
"Crazy eyes" makes me think of the new Hot Ones I just watched because the host always says, "Careful around the eyes." Made me think they should have Uzo Aduba as a guest. I know it is a stretch for a comment but just wanted to say it lol. Great episode as always, Lets Read!
Footsteps in the snow = footPRINTS.
I find it wired listening to music instead of the RUclips narrators for cleaning, driving, and sleeping. 😅🤭 I was listening along to a camping/woods experiences and my mom's neighbors happened to be camping in their front lawn I had the stories blasting ( I'm use to no neighbors) before I noticed while takeing out the trash they spooked me instead.
I wish that Anna story is not true. It may sound ridiculous but, oh my god if it’s real
Great video and love Fear Street voice :) Totally subbing to him
"I was literally glued to the floor" 🤦
