Honestly, my budget eating is not going well, I bought lots of cheap baked beans and they taste so vile, I threw them out. Love to you, Lawrence and the little Champ, Orin. 💖🇮🇪
Honestly it's got to be said that baby boy of yours is the definition of cute...giving you little cuddles and the way he looks at you bless him, it's a look of pure love xx ❤️
Also loving this series - I would eat the chicken tikka as long as it didn't have freezer burn. Your freezer still looks so full so we could get a few more weeks out of it watching you. Your meals all looked lovely. x
Always excited to see a new video! Loving this series. Prices in NZ have gone up so much and have been trying to delay how much I shop. I’ve already gone 3 weeks without a big shop, thanks to following this
Yes, I do this all the time. I’ve also been using my instant pot, and will be using my new air fryer too. That sausage casserole looks good, and the mash sounds amazing!!
Also do you know there’s an app you can download and you can enter what ingredients you have and then it gives you recipes based on what’s in your cupboards/fridge etc xxx
Hi Sophie ~ Another great video ~ I’m really struggling at the moment but just wanted to say I hope Yourself ~ Lawrence and Orin have a great Easter ~ Sending love and hugs as always ~ Xxx
Loved this 🤗 Love thr cooking videos and ideas 🙏 Orren is soooo cute and a star ginger who will have a little fiery temperament inside of him... Wild days ahead Soph 😉 x x ♥️🤣
Hi Sopherina really enjoying this series Iam just getting over covid so using what is I. freezer etc has been very useful I have practically emptied my freezer drawers and used what I can and blanched and frozen a lot even the odd leek I found Keep up the good work xx
I'm with you on pasta shapes tasting different. I don't like fusilli!! I've also been using up what I have in my fridge and freezer this month. It's amazing how creative you have to be when you can only use what you already have! :-)
These recipes all look delicious 😋 the lentils really do need a good wash because they can have dust and grit from the manufacturers! I always rinse things like rice and lentils! I know some people water their plants with the water from washing rice x
I love pasta shells because the sauce gets "stuck" inside like an easy wannabee ravioli. ;) But I get your point. I don't the point of bow pasta, e.g. Or the "mac and cheese" typical pasta that we see in US films. I am loving this series. :)
Make double the macaroni, half goes into tuna casserole that just needs to be put in freezer with onion, celery and Mayo overnight and the first night the first half can be with pasta sauce.
Pasta shapes are so different 😂🤣... I love shells but not a fan of penne.. just catching up with you guys after my RUclips algarythm getting all messed up and getting great inspiration, I have far too much freezer/pantry food, need to do a month or even two of using up food!!
I eat all the pasta except spaghetti which I think is a combo of the mess and a childhood phobia of snakes and worms. I think pasta should be paired to the sauce so shells would be used with something small like peas whereas tagliatelle would have a runny sauce to coat it etc. Please remember food security isn't just about cost or waste, important though they are, but also shortages so don't let your stock run down too much. Thank you for sharing.
Hi love great easy ways to cook Is a slow cooker I got a tip if your lid wobbles pop a tea towel over the top of the slow cookerand it cooks quicker my friend Hailey gave it me her channel is mummy cooks homemade her channel js brilliant she makes meals and cakes as well as puddings good home cooking love fran xxxx
Hi Sophie, will you tell me what were the most shocking price hikes that you and Lawrence noticed, and tell us the price now and what the price used to be approx.
Hi i wonder if you could cook them lentils mash them with sweet potato reg potatos as a topping to mince ie shepards pie ive never cooked lentils like them before so im only suggesting it might work .i some times do mince and onion peas carrots and gravy with mash thats an easy one to throw together for a family but tasty i put oxo in my gravy x
Looks delicious. I wanted to tell you that tinfoil is really environment unfriendly. Baking on a silicone mat is cheaper and better for the environment
Whenever you make red lentils: make sure you clean them and rinse them more than once, like you would do with rice before boiling them, sometimes they have small stones in them and this is our go to most popluler Asian, traditional dish. If you would like me to give you our recipe, please feel free to give me your email!

These recipes all look delicious 😋 the lentils really do need a good wash because they can have dust and grit from the manufacturers! I always rinse things like rice and lentils! I know some people water their plants with the water from washing rice x
I love this series 🥰
Shell and penne for me, its a.texture thing as well as they "taste" different. They probably don't but they do!
All pasta shapes taste the same 🤣. Love this series it’s def motivated me to start using what we have instead of hoarding lol. Orin is adorable 🥰
they don't though! the shape and texture play a big part in the taste!
Yay love these videos!
great update guys. remember when fredo choc was like 15p or 1p sweets. now much more!
1p sweets!! I remember those. 😅😅😅
Really wonderful meals. I am thinking of a slow cooker , it looks ideal. Orin is growing, hes just gorgeous x
I couldn’t be without a slow cooker, it can make life so much easier xx
I love pasta shells because the sauce gets "stuck" inside like an easy wannabee ravioli. ;) But I get your point. I don't the point of bow pasta, e.g. Or the "mac and cheese" typical pasta that we see in US films. I am loving this series. :)
Oh an this reminded me watermelon season is coming. :D I love watermelon. Quite pricey here, but we rarely get bad ones.
Luv the sound of the chicken dish will be giving that ago.
It is so so delish!! Xxxx
Made your chicken pasta the other day o so yummy the best pasta dish i.ve had for ages.thanx you x
وصفة رائعة جدا تسلم ايدك حبيبتي بالهنا والشفا شكلها بشهي
That mash looked incredible… will there be a recipe for it?
Yes! Just collating recipes at the moment to add to IG and my website! Xxxx
Make double the macaroni, half goes into tuna casserole that just needs to be put in freezer with onion, celery and Mayo overnight and the first night the first half can be with pasta sauce.
Good tip, thank you!

If you brown sausages first they look better.

Very very true! We are going to be taking a cupboard stock take at the end of next week to make sure necessities are always stocked xxx
The trouble with shell is sometimes they get stuck together and don’t cook through.
Yes! They curl into each other and go hard! I’m really not a fan! Xx
@@Sopherina you have to inspect it before it goes in the water.

Hi Sophie, will you tell me what were the most shocking price hikes that you and Lawrence noticed, and tell us the price now and what the price used to be approx.

This is such a brilliant idea and one I’m definitely going to be doing for Orin’s next batch meals 👍🏼 thank you xxxx
Support from singko
Omg I so get what you mean about shell pasta tasting funny! I'm a basic penne gal😂
Keep your onions in the dark to help them last longer… and away from potatoes… don’t know why, but since I’ve separated mine they last loads longer ;)
Very interesting!! Definitely going to be doing that! Thank you xxxx
And I buy the Aldi ones too and it does make a difference :)
Every time u lift the lid on a slow cooker it adds 15 mins cooking time.
I can’t find the recipe for the scones 😔💚
Do you have recipes please
I’m just compiling them all at the moment xx
Shout out
💜
Could have just cooked the rest of the sausage and freeze for a later quick meal
True!!
High Sophie I agree with you about the pasta I don’t know what it is but I just can’t stand it
Same! I can’t put my finger on it, I just don’t like it!! Xx
Looks delicious. I wanted to tell you that tinfoil is really environment unfriendly. Baking on a silicone mat is cheaper and better for the environment
