One thing to remember, Anya's only either 4 or 5. She absolute lied when she said she was six to get Twilight to adopt her. She also stood on her tiptoes to make herself look bigger. So she's going to make mistakes that a normal 6 year old wouldn't.
That is 100% true! It's easy to forget that fact sometimes 💖

Ray gave a really great point on how we always had these moments of Anya making us laugh for being a cute, silly child that when she is put in a serious situation where she’s made to be hurt/upset/crying it REALLY hits us and we want to protect her 😭
This was a great first moment for Twilight to confirm he’s already falling for his family, protecting Anya and “failing” as an expert spy. He’s slipping!!!

19:10 -- Regarding this, in the original Japanese version Anya always refers to Yor as "haha", while in that scene where she cries in this episode she uses the word "mama" and not "haha", so this might _really_ be about her birth mother.

I thought it was because Anya realized she couldn't remember her mom at all. She's having so much fun with Yor that's she felt guilty about not even knowing the woman that gave her life.

She is the cutest in Japanese. She has great Voice Actress and VA for Yor is kind of legendary as well.
EDIT 1:
1. So, yes. Elite schools often have their own "intelligence gathering abilities". While unlikely to be a match for real professional agencies, they can sometimes get in a way or find information that might be tricky to explain. If mission objective wasn't to get into said school to establish contact with Desmond, most Operatives would NOT send their children to such school, without evaluation from their parent Intel Agency. It is simply too dangerous, because some information might be gained. Heck, it isn't even rare for such places to hire as security experts/teachers, ex Special Operations and ex-Military/Civilian Intelligence operators.
EDIT 2:
2. So of course the one "unworthy" of being educator is former headmaster's son. The other 2 represent what being educator means. Obviously I don't know if the "rude" Housemaster was any good before that, I suspect the school bent the rules a bit out of respect to his father to keep him. What is patently clear is that he is unworthy in his current circumstances. Taking his grief on children. I understand grief and I'm a big believer in second chances, but mentally torturing 6 year olds..... I expect him AT MINIMUM to be forced to change positions and be put at leave of absence until he can sort his affairs in order. And when he comes back (if), he shouldn't work with Children this young. It is "Eden College", so it should span "year-wise" from at least Elementary School to High-school. Maybe, just maybe, he can still work with High-schoolers and provide some worth in their education.
3. Unrelated to the Anime and I hope you won't think I'm creepy and completely overstepping boundaries. Your family seems very nice. While names "Sarai" and "Soleil" sound foreign to me (I'm a foreigner from your point of view), they also sound very nice. And not like names you'd put on children so they have "wacky" names "when they become celebrities" - which sadly I knew parents like this who harmed their children that way. You look opposite of that - like a loving family that can watch a show together and have fun as a family. Congratulations. For both of you as parents and to your daughters. As far as I saw, despite having watched the show, they didn't spoil it for you, they wanted you to have fun watching it. You're a very lucky parent.
If that comment sounds out of bounds, I apologize and I ask that you tell me to keep it to technical stuff.

But the name Sarai is a combination between their mom's name and Ray's name (pronounced Suh-Ray) and Soleil means "sun" in French, also a play on words being a phrase we say in the US - "a Ray of Sunshine" using Ray's name and the sun's "sunshine" :) We appreciate you and your kind words! They aren't always with us but when they are, we plan on having them in a video here and there 😁💖 - Katie

1:17 -- About "ooting" -- in Japanese, Anya says "o-dekeke" instead of "o-dekake" how it should be.
