Van was an excellent tech rep and after the company sees this project he gets a deserved atta boy and pay👍👍👍. You and your wife are outstanding farmers.
Bekeart should be very proud of Van! What an awesome job putting in that fence! What a sense of accomplishment when it was done! It really looks good. Now that its done you won't have to worry about it for a long, long time. The homestead is looking great!
That was the best non-commercial commercial I've seen for a farm product. I've already been to the website. If they keep guys like that in the field, I'm confident they'd answer my stupid questions when I call. Thanks for letting us in on the partnership and Wow- that fence looks great!
I guess Mayah was trying to thank the gentleman for putting up such a quality fence for her protection and for the sheep as well. Thanks for sharing and You and Rebekah have a wonderful July 4th.
A lot more work. The fence looks really nice , You Guys sure work hard !! It will be nice to see livestock in the pasture !! I LOVE YOU BOTH !! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
WoW - that was so Cool to watch - Van was so knowledgeable and seemed so comfortable in front of the Camera - Good Work and they have an Awesome Piece of Marketing Material to use for many years
Thanks to Van for his help on the fence install and all he taught everyone during his time with you. The fence turned out great and you're almost done with this project. You and Rebecca stay safe and have a good 4th of July. Catch you in the next video. Fred.
Your video not only demonstrates innovative techniques for constructing pipe fence braces without welding but also provides clear instructions on adjusting top wires effectively. By sharing these methods, you've empowered viewers with valuable knowledge that promotes efficient and sustainable fencing solutions. Your dedication to practical craftsmanship and problem-solving shines through in this informative content. And I am Floating Village Life.
Isn’t it a great feeling to stand back and look at what y’all’s place looks like today compared to the first day y’all bought it. Some gigantic back patting earned. Congratulations!
The Bekaert guy was awesome jumped in with both feet and you guys worked together to get it done ! Fence looks great but I would put 1 strand of barbed wire on top of that chicken wire to keep cows from trying to lean over the top .
Hi Evan and Rebecca, from Dublin, Ireland. Your videos are amazing and very educational. Van seems like a really good man. And your fences great. Keep up the great work - Paul.
Bekaert seems to be a great company to work for! I like that they are willing to trust in their employees and their knowledge to get things done. I retired early two years ago from a company that thought my 30+ years of experience could be replaced by anyone; 3 different people do what I did now. I hope people realize cookie cutter will never be the case, some things are experience related. This putting in a fence correctly is proof of stretch videos is proof of that.
Nothing like a cup of coffee and an episode of "Country View Acres" on this fine 4th of July morning. Job well done! Look forward to the rest of the project.
Looks like Van made a new girlfriend in Miah, she’s such a flirt. Such a hard working gent to have with you Evan and I hope he had a safe journey home. Happy 4th July everyone from Bonnie Scotland.
Awesome fence build! Van was super knowledgeable, very skilled and willing to teach you. People like that are hard to find. Curious as to what part of TN he was from?
Now that's what I call a fantastic looking fence, nice job Evan, Van and Rebekah. Van sure did give you some great pointers, you can't put a price on that type of technical support. Thanks for sharing this video, I hope you all have a safe and Happy 4th of July.
No kidding! Fence stretcher was a couple of 2 x 4's, bunch of 1/4" bolts sandwiching the fence in between, chain on two outer-ish bolts and come-along pulling it taught. Setting all the t-post' and other details is another story.😃 Hard hot work for a young teen, but wouldn't trade the know - how or the time with my Grandpa and Dad for anything. Evan and Rebecca the fence looks great.
I really like the spacing in that type of fence. Strong and don't have to worry about smaller animals getting their head caught in it. Van seems like a really cool guy. Best of luck. Take Care!!!
I have really enjoyed watching you and Van install your new fencing. And know it or not, you ended up producing a great installation video while completing the work. A Win- Win! And a job well done!
Wow Evan, great looking fence! So kind of Vance and Bekaert! Anyone looking to do a fence the three videos plus all the prep work Evan and Rebecca did is worth your while to watch and learn. Thanks for sharing and giving us a glimpse into the farmstead life. Appreciate the hard work that goes into these and just want to encourage you to keep up the great work! Mia was a lot of help!
Constructing a fence like that looks easy enough that even an old dummy like me could probably do it. It's also nice to see somebody that is not only a good teacher, but certainly appears that he likes his job and takes a lot of pride in his work. I hope that Van made it home to Tennessee safely.
Thanks for sharing a valuable vlog as always. Your job is definitely standardized and it will be helpful for everyone who has plans for a fencing project. pipe Posting without any welding job is very impressive. I am looking forward to your next project soon.Take care of your health in the hot summer 🇰🇷
Evan, the fence looks amazing! Fence building techniques have dramatically improved since my days as a Kansas farm boy. Genuinely enjoy your videos and am rooting for your success in every endeavor.
Hi, Evan! Have you heard the line from Robert Frost’s Poem MENDING WALL? He says, “Good fences make good neighbors.” You are the best of neighbors because you have the best fence.
I think the Bekaert rep should make a few how-to videos himself and get permission to use the ones he done with you and others he thinks would help folks do fencing and other things the company sells.
Good to see the brace kit in action. This is the product I mentioned in several videos when I saw you were using the pipe for posts. I encountered the product years ago and I was hoping to see it in action. We will see how they hold up over the years. In my day we had to use a pipe cutter (that you would spin around the pipe) to cut the pipe to length. The portable band saw made quick work cutting the pipe. The installer really know his stuff and a great ambassador for the company.
I've got about 2000 feet of fence I been dreading of putting up but you and Van are inspiring I may have to get started on it this spring. I love your fence videos God bless
The Bekaert fence building video was terrific. The 2 of you worked very well together and the result is a life long fence project for your farm. While I live in Kansas City, I was born in Danville, Illinois and raised in Hoopeston, Illinois. I watch your channel often as a Central Illinois fan! Congratulations on your retirement from industry and best wishes for a bright future.
I have been totally amazed. How this fence build has been going. I have learned a lot by just watching. Definitely having the right tools for the job. Thank you for the video
Evan (Van) Great Videos, I learned a lot from them. My 860 acres of wheat needs No fence but someday I might. With the price of meat we are thinking of getting some steers
That Brace System is much quicker and better than a weld. That'll save so much time if you have to install some more fencing in the future. Great job from Van, Evan and Rebecca 👍
Van sure was a great teacher. I see that he has set you up to do your own sections with a little help from Rebeca. Great tools and people make a good fence. jack
Having put up a few fences over the years, I know how much work it can be. I've been retired for several years now but I'm amazed at that tool they have for tensioning the wire. We used come-alongs back then. I learned a lot and saw some (new to me) fencing products. And that is a great looking fence you guys built.
You made a good move getting a Bekaert rep to help you w/part of your fence. Now you will have an easier job installing rest of fence yourself. Fence videos have been good. Thanks for the watch.
Man oh man don't know if it's because I'm an old country boy but I see beauty in your fence great work & also to Van & Rebecca awesome job..... you're going to have an excellent pasture for the critters great job again take care 👍🏻
The Bekaert rep seemed like a very genuine person. Great video and informative. Thanks again.
Bekaert guy is a good guy, the kind you want in your neighborhood. Knows his stuff about fencing, betcha he's got other aces in his pocket.
Bekaert rocks having Van on their team!
Van was an excellent tech rep and after the company sees this project he gets a deserved atta boy and pay👍👍👍. You and your wife are outstanding farmers.

No question is a stupid question and asking up front will save time and money. Thank you for watching.
Thank you to Bekaert for sponsoring this for Evan and @Country View Acres! If I ever need to run fence, I’m calling y'all!
I'd be extra proud of that homestead. Not just looking good, but adding value in both practical terms and financial terms. A job done well!
Those bolt in kits sure make it easy and doable if you don’t have a welder
I always get tickled when Evan tells the cows " no no"...! Cause cows are like kangaroos...they just do whatever !!!
