Persian literature is something that's beyond any comparison, it's simply marvelous Thank you Iranis/Persians for Rumi, Hafez, Khayyam, Rudaki, Tabrizi and on and on.. I love them all... Have you seen a movie "Knocking on the Heavens door"? There's phrase in it - "You've never been to the sea? Then you'd better hurry. In Heaven that's all they talk about day and night, about its beauty, the marvelous sunsets, how the Sun "melts" into the ocean during the sunsets." Well, I truly think in Heaven all they talk about are the two things actually) - the beauty of the sea and of the Persian poetry =))
@@lanych1 hello. Thanks a lot for your nice message. I am Iranian. I have studied so much about Iranian mysticism and philosophy and also about Hinduism and Buddhism. If you are interested in philosophy and mysticism we can keep up in making conversation and relationships about it in social media platforms if you're willing. I will be happy if you agree
I think it's appealing to someone that speaks Southern American English because they have a tendency to do the same, for example, "Heyyy Y'alll!" from Florida
“Stretching of words and trembling in the voice” has a name in English which is called “yodel”. Yodeling refers to the musical style which is common in Switzerland. Also look up “banshee yodeling.” Additionally, stretching of the intonation in a sentence or a vowel in a word is called “drawl” such as Midwest drawl or southern drawl.
Iranian songs are similar to stories because the roots of these songs go back to ancient Iranian stories and myths. The stories that tell about the lover and the beloved are full of romantic narratives such as Shirin and Farhad or Laili and Majnoon in the classical literature of Iran. Iranian culture considers love, affection, friendship and desire for life before other things.

Thank you Deanna, You did an amazing reaction. Music is the only real connection that exists by far. We are so connected to each other all over the world. Different languages but same feelings, emotions and love . 🌹 I hope you’re feeling better now. Cheers
Hry deanna . awesome. i just have a suggestion: Do a reaction to a song by Sirvan khosravi ( persian singer) called " Tanha Nazar" (music video) you would definitely love it 🎉🎉🎉
Yes, tahrir (fast movements of the voice) is amazing and is a characteristic of the classical Persian songs. Even some contemporary songs like this beautiful one has it. I only guess varying cord tention quickly, and therefore changing the frequencies, can produce tahrir. I wish I knew about the theory of music so I could analyze for myself. It feels that during tahrir, frequencies change so fast, being woven together (modulatef). But realy there is more to it. For example, does the singer stay in one octave or moves across them during a tahrir? Some tahrirs like those in the classical Persian musics are like bird chirping 😅 and the ones in this song are slower and smoother more like riding a fast roller coaster. Add to it the trembling of the voice that to me is frequency chattering. Please educate me anyone who has the theoretical expertise.
I love your reactions. But i would like to see first time reactions. They would be more interesting to watch. Thank you anyway. You're pronunciation is spot on by the way
Hello, dear Deanna❤🖐💐 I hope you are fine where were you?! We missed you, good girl I was very sad and worried that you said you were sick! I hope you are fully recovered❤🩹 I really enjoyed your reaction to the Iranian song You understand Iranian music very well👌 And you pronounced the name of the song very beautifully👍 I would like to see and hear you play setar again Do you still play setar? We love you like our own daughter I hope you will come to Iran soon after the situation calms down and security is established We welcome you with open arms🤗🤝🤍 دوست شما از ایران🙌
Thanks for this reaction, Deanna! You are right that so many of Persian music is/sounds sad! I believe music shows "the state of a society". Unfortunately, in at least the last 200 years, Iran has experienced a lot of downs which may reflects itself in music. Just my 2 cents. I hope that things change societally, and we can produce cheerier (but still meaningful) music. I hope a speedy recovery for you ❤ By the way, I like your accent! If I may guess, Minnesotan? :)
Hi deana, You me so sad, relating to your health issue. I hope you get your health back in full capacity. Wish you all the health and all people on earth as well. Stay healthy.
