I remember in one of SB19’s interview Pablo says “we won’t stop, until every Filipino recognize our group”. Before they aim for world domination. They first wanted that every Filipino knows them. That's why I stan SB19. Their talent is exceptional. Their personality is what fans love in them.
That's why I stan them. They have a crystal clear vision. Hindi yung basta na lang na may pangarap. They actually know how to get there and what it takes to make it happen.
World domination is indeed a huge dream.. But SB19 slowly realizing that dream because - they have the right attitude - they have legit talents (each one is multi-talented) - their humble beginnings, sacrifices, perseverance are their ammunition - they equipped themselves with years of training yet they are still continuously and consistently learning and doing things to improve their skills and talents - they do not pretend to be anyone else but themselves
It’s the talent is first for me. Then love them even more is because of their personalities. And they bring their “yabang” on stage because they can and they can handle it. In the industry you can be humble and be mayabang because meron naman ipagyayabang!! Love this group so much!!

Boy groups before and after SB19 need to realize that it will take more than good looks and talent to match even a fraction of what our boys have achieved. Their heart and soul (plus their sense of business ownership because they write/create/direct their songs and performances) made people around the world admire them. You can’t rush art, you can’t rush success! You don’t step on someone else’s toes to be ahead of the game. And when you found your way up there, stay grounded. This is what our boys are made of!

I'm not an actual fanboy of SB19. I'm not that kind of fan that would support them from minute to minute, would know all their songs' title, would know all their stories, would stream their songs and albums on time, BUT I am this fan that have a great bias for the group if someone would compare them to other groups. SB19 is like my EXO and TAYLOR SWIFT in the Philippines. I can still remember how I really disliked them when I first watched them. I'm like, "What a kpop copycat!". But, I happened to hear their song "GO UP" whenever I play random songs in youtube and I didn't notice that I started singing their songs. Until, they made me cry with their ballads. SB19 is a legend for me that will never be replaced by any other groups. That's all.

There is a thin line between arrogance and confidence. It's all about how you deliver and carry yourself that determines if you are actually confident or hiding on plain arrogance. They may not be aware of their actions and were just acting on human nature - which is being naturally competitive. And because of that, it came out really off to say the least. In the hip hop community in general, flexing is pretty cut throat, especially in hip hop groups, rappers, etc. Low key dissing the competition and throwing shade to tip off the competitions' ego is part of their game. Kids follow everything on social media these days and they might have thought that they're just trying to create a little competition or buzz with the Kings themselves. I agree with you Chuck. They could have been coached properly by their handlers on how to deal with media and the competition. Plus, they're kids who grew up in the time where instant fame is actually being recognized and that they're relying heavily on that for the success of their group. Instant fame is fleeting. One minute, you're standing side by side with industry legends. Then one minute, you're back to just a regular joe. Like what Chuck said, an artist's longevity depends on how good and talented that artist is - not looks, not social media fame. I'm not saying that they are not talented. They are, but they piggy back so much on their "tiktoker" persona that in my opinion, tells so much where their confidence is coming from. I just hope these boys grow up to be amazing and humble artists because in this time where cancel culture is prevalent, the only weapon you need to have is humility and sheer talent from within. I have mentioned this before in a comment of mine. Not all artists - no matter how good and exceptional they are, can break the glass ceiling that our kings have broken. And that my friends, are not just due to their talents - there are many more factors why they are who they are now. And they're loved by so many. I wish Beyond Zero luck and success. Why the need for comparison?? Media toxicity na naman. Basta ako solid SB19 pa din kasi makikita mo yung passion nila at pagmamahal sa OPM and sa Pilipinas! I've also watched them perform live for the first in November 2019 sa Ayala Malls. Gosh! Sobrang galing nila. Dancing and singing at the same time without getting breathless. And 'yong live vocals nila panalo talaga, parang recorded or much better pa. Ang kind pa nila sa fans nila. Deserve nila 'yong recognition in and out of the country. What BZ is using is guerrilla tactic, wherein they mention a more popular group. Unfortunately this might set them up to failure IF they do not meet the high standards #SB19 has established and continues to set. I do wish BZ well and hope they also succeed. I rarely stan Pinoy pop music acts but #SB19 changed that, they are a group that only comes once in a lifetime: super talented, beautiful, humble, highly motivated, and forged by fire that is why they value what they achieved and they value their fans.

I was and am an avid followers of reaction videos of SB19 for awhile whether it is trigger or not but this one? I had never seen it yet and this interview made my brows arching for so long. One of many reasons why I don't want to support this younger generation's work. It is becoz I am seeing swell heads already when they have no achievements yet. Wala pa ni sa kuko ang nagagawa para maging mayabang. SB19 is the epitome of a good player. With goodness comes humbleness and being humble comes hardwork, focus, empathy and humility. If someone lacks of these characteristics hindi ka mapupunta sa gusto mong puntahan dahil nakikita ngayon pa lang kung paano ka sumagot at manghatak pababa ng iba. I have seen so many ppop groups from the recently ppop con na nakalabas na ang sungay. Wala kasi silang "foundation" kaya sila ang yayabang. Life experiences isn't enough but the long training that includes respect to others, acknowledging your superiors and seniors, discipline to oneself and self control. Only Korean training has that. I had couple of Korean friends' whose children were trainees and what I had seen from them is not of what I normally seen from the ordinary koreans on the street. The foundation they have learned was RESPECT to your seniors whether you are older than their age or in the same age level. Ang pinoy kasi marami ang taas ng ego na makasayaw lang star na pakiramdam. Makakanta lang feeling singer na. Let's admit it, this generation is lacking of self discipline, lacking of manners and ethics and lacking of acknowledging real respect and values. Marami sa kanila unahan from getting attentions and credits and rising copycats. Among all the stars, wannabe's and just started artists today, iilan lang ang makikita mong humble despite the status. I will remain stanning SB19 w/c this group deserves more than anyone else. Sila yung tayo muna bago sarili nila and that's what I love with these young boys.

I can still remember how I really disliked them when I first watched them. I'm like, "What a kpop copycat!". But, I happened to hear their song "GO UP" whenever I play random songs in youtube and I didn't notice that I started singing their songs. Until, they made me cry with their ballads.

There is a thin line between arrogance and confidence. It's all about how you deliver and carry yourself that determines if you are actually confident or hiding on plain arrogance. They may not be aware of their actions and were just acting on human nature - which is being naturally competitive. And because of that, it came out really off to say the least. In the hip hop community in general, flexing is pretty cut throat, especially in hip hop groups, rappers, etc. Low key dissing the competition and throwing shade to tip off the competitions' ego is part of their game. Kids follow everything on social media these days and they might have thought that they're just trying to create a little competition or buzz with the Kings themselves.
I agree with you Chuck. They could have been coached properly by their handlers on how to deal with media and the competition. Plus, they're kids who grew up in the time where instant fame is actually being recognized and that they're relying heavily on that for the success of their group. Instant fame is fleeting. One minute, you're standing side by side with industry legends. Then one minute, you're back to just a regular joe. Like what Chuck said, an artist's longevity depends on how good and talented that artist is - not looks, not social media fame. I'm not saying that they are not talented. They are, but they piggy back so much on their "tiktoker" persona that in my opinion, tells so much where their confidence is coming from.
I just hope these boys grow up to be amazing and humble artists because in this time where cancel culture is prevalent, the only weapon you need to have is humility and sheer talent from within. I have mentioned this before in a comment of mine. Not all artists - no matter how good and exceptional they are, can break the glass ceiling that our kings have broken. And that my friends, are not just due to their talents - there are many more factors why they are who they are now. And they're loved by so many. I wish Beyond Zero luck and success. The success of all P-pop groups are our success as Filipinos too. Let's support and help by not making them beef with one another. It gives them irrelevant success. I was and am an avid followers of reaction videos of SB19 for awhile whether it is trigger or not but this one? I had never seen it yet and this interview made my brows arching for so long. One of many reasons why I don't want to support this younger generation's work. It is becoz I am seeing swell heads already when they have no achievements yet. Wala pa ni sa kuko ang nagagawa para maging mayabang. SB19 is the epitome of a good player. With goodness comes humbleness and being humble comes hardwork, focus, empathy and humility. If someone lacks of these characteristics hindi ka mapupunta sa gusto mong puntahan dahil nakikita ngayon pa lang kung paano ka sumagot at manghatak pababa ng iba. I have seen so many ppop groups from the recently ppop con na nakalabas na ang sungay. Wala kasi silang "foundation" kaya sila ang yayabang. Life experiences isn't enough but the long training that includes respect to others, acknowledging your superiors and seniors, discipline to oneself and self control. Only Korean training has that. I had couple of Korean friends' whose children were trainees and what I had seen from them is not of what I normally seen from the ordinary koreans on the street. The foundation they have learned was RESPECT to your seniors whether you are older than their age or in the same age level. Ang pinoy kasi marami ang taas ng ego na makasayaw lang star na pakiramdam. Makakanta lang feeling singer na. Let's admit it, this generation is lacking of self discipline, lacking of manners and ethics and lacking of acknowledging real respect and values. Marami sa kanila unahan from getting attentions and credits and rising copycats.
Among all the stars, wannabe's and just started artists today, iilan lang ang makikita mong humble despite the status. I will remain stanning SB19 w/c this group deserves more than anyone else. Sila yung tayo muna bago sarili nila and that's what I love with these young boys.
