Thanks Paul. I know from watching others doing these travel blogs how much is involved. A low bar but this video was way more interesting than the match itself.
Great vlog, Paul. Thanks for all your effort in sharing the European away experience watching the Glasgow Celtic!! Shame about the result, but a point is better than nothing. Hoping the Young Boys game @ Paradise goes well & we can get into the knockout phase. HH!! And cheers again!! p.s. You must have been frozen in that less than modern stadium... jeezo, bleak or what!
You have hopium we’ll beat Aston Villa away? When they’ll probably still need at least 1 point vs us to secure a top 8 finish? I can’t see it happening. We’ll be very well represented in Birmingham. But I can only see another L.
--> Brilliant travel/match vlog! Being stuck states-side, I like being able to get a taste of the match-day experience from vlogs like this. --> I'd love to be able to flip the script for the next two CL matches: Young Boys on the road and Villa at Paradise.
Well done Paul. Just got back tonight as I wanted some free time after the game. Got home to see a lot of negative comments on social media. Fvck me 2 wins, 2 draws and 1 defeat. Just don't get some of our supporters what do they expect! I'm more than happy at this stage. Looking forward to cup final preview. Hail Hail
Thanks for these btw Paul, I'm physically disabled and autistic so I don't get to games or have a passport. It's nice to get a fans eye view. Have a merry, hoopy holiday period, folks! HH
Your away victory drought sums up the condition of our European form - embarrassing, considering a skint 12 year old club operating at a mere quarter of our budget, can consistently win away in Europe against bigger and better teams than that muck we played last night! 🤦🏻♀️
Champions league is a different level. They don't play in the champions league and when they did they got humiliated. We got a point away from home on a shit frozen pitch. Not bad going. 9 points on the board.
@@cjc201 True, but in the context of them being a skint new club with zero European pedigree, is it any surprise they got humiliated in the UCL? We have also been embarrassed in the Europa League since it was rebranded in 2009. A tournament they regularly go deep in and reached the Final of. As bad as they are, there is no getting away from the fact they would have beat DZ the other night. I very much doubt we will ever get a better chance to win away in the UCL, and we still couldn’t do! The frozen pitch chat I have seen touted about for the past couple of days, if it was indeed frozen, the game wouldn’t have went ahead. The pitch was perfectly playable. We play on worse every year in Scotland at this time of year. When we’re at the stage whereby we are looking for erroneous extrinsic excuses, then it’s a really bad day. Abysmal performance and abysmal game management from Rodgers is what cost us the win.
No excuses,we didn't play up to standard but a point away is still.good. it's irrelevant what another team may or may not have done, we are in the Champs league which is a bonus and we should be proud of how we've done thus far. Win our next game and we're through. Players and teams have off days, it happens just get on with supporting the team.
The stadium is basically shit, but so is virtually every other stadium from former Yugoslavia … including Red Star Belgrade’s: the biggest club from there. A reflection of all the countries trajectories. With the exception of a couple in Slovenia. Which shouldn’t be surprising given it’s the biggest success story from Yugoslavia. Supposedly elites buy property there much like they do New Zealand, given the political stability and other relevant factors, etc.

James Richardson no got a look in😂
Good vlog glad you enjoyed your trip away.
Great coverage mate
Thanks a lot!
Great video Paul. I'm surprised at people's reaction to the game. While we were poor a point in Europe should never be taken for granted! HH
Thanks Paul another great Video on the road. Enjoy the cup final this weekend pumping SEVCO could be a big morale boost for this new Celtic team.

Look, it's better than a defeat and they are still in great shape! Just bring on Liverpool anytime, that's a certain win( for Celtic).
Bring on Liverpool?? 😂

That club have never won a Champions League game in their history.
@@gary1470 Considering it took us 10 years to win a game in said competition, I don’t think we can say much tbh!

Young guys more mature than my generation I went abroad once to see Celtic beat Ajax 1-2 a disorganised drunken rabble 😂
