EIGHTEEN YEARS since the Steelers have had a losing season. As a Seattle fan, I tip my cap. They've kept that streak alive through 3rd string QB's, over the hill QB's, decimated defenses, etc. What a solid franchise. Yet again this year, everyone wrote them off at 1-3 as a doormat, yet here they are heading into the bye on pace to keep the streak alive. Respect.

Diontae Johnson is so much improved as a receiver from just a year ago with all the dropped passes. I just think he had his hands on upside down. Now he catches almost everything that comes his way and Ben relies on him a lot.
Good game all-around. Geno probably feels guilty because they should’ve won this game for DT. But TJ Watt is just too relentless. That big contract is not just for show, he delivers.

This was more like a playoff game than a regular season game. One of the hardest hitting games I ever saw. I have seen football on TV since the 1960s.
Alex Collins in the opening drive of the 2nd half was amazing.

Geno made a rookie mistake but he played really really well up to that point. Seattle had running backs. They weren't given chance because of R. Wilson but now is their time to shine.
He played average. 0 points and 60 total offensive yards in the first half doesn't cut it. And any other team with a half decent offense puts that game away

I was here for the start of a new era of football in Pittsburgh! What an amazing night for football as a lifetime die hard Steelers fan and personally to me as a father! One of Steelers athletic trainers I believe is what he was tossed my son up a ball for his 8th birthday and his first every NFL game. He was holding a sign he made with his mother. Thank you guys so so so much!! My son is so so so freaking happy and thankful! This is a memory me him and his momther will cherish for a life time. Again thank you so much! Although they lost I was glad to see Geno Smith get another opportunity to showcase his talents. Always felt he got a raw deal after he lost the starting job in NY after he got sucker punched in the preseason which led him to be out. That was a great football game.

Poor Geno. He's now lost us the game 2 weeks in a row, though both times the situations were kinda out of his hands. First Lockett tripping on his intercepted route, last week, and now getting brutally strip sacked from an absolute monster who came out of nowhere and ripped his balls off. I'm sure he feels horrible. Both times you could see the horror and dismay on his face. I felt so sorry for him. He just wants to do great and open up opportunities for himself in the league, and these losses aren't helping-though I feel his performance coming in last week was more impressive than tonight, so hopefully he will get into that rhythm against our weaker opponents and will be able to get some wins-for us, for his team and for himself! He's actually not looking so bad out there and when the running game and defense click, the team feels unstoppable. The problem is how inconsistent the whole team is. Those first 2 quarters were brutal.
Geno is obviously has less experience but I think he has potential, Collins really pulled his weight here, excited to see what he can continue to do

Really hoping Darrell Taylor is all good, that’s a scary injury to have. On the bright side, I liked seeing a little mix up in the Seattle offense. Hopefully we can continue to improve when Russ comes back. Geno is doing well and really stepped up to the plate

The steelers always do this. Whenever they play backups they make them look good with sloppy tackling. I told y'all geno smith is gonna look like the next coming of tom Brady when playing this.

Coming back to this game after Geno’s success story, it becomes evident that he didn’t rise back outta nowhere, he’s been working constantly for the chance he gained well deservingly so. Not even a Hawks fan, just a Steelers fan wanting to see some of Ben’s final games.

Defense/offense can definitely improve, the take steps forward/back. We need them groins to heal on up... Offense/defense execute better.
