That's like our dog , they are great once they are on but , I find it's a 2 person job to get them on. I'm missing a portion of my 2 index fingers on one hand & I can't stretch them wide enough to get them on ...
This is day one for my QUMY boots for my golden Doodle. I've just had the 2 front ones on he doesn't seem to put his full weight on them yet. I'll have to go slow like the instructions say. I wish QUMY would describe more HOW to put the boot on properly , they are great at describing in detail HOW to get the dog used to wearing them .... but we have to get them on properly ....
I take less time to get ready for work than it takes to put on those last boots. I don't have a lot of patience, in fact less so that my doggie when she says NO.
Hi I need a two boots for my very active collie dog who like to play catch with his ball so he skids a lot on hi front paws ripping the skin off have you got any ideas needs to be durable and waterproof kind regards sandi.
Trying to use the current "model" Arcadia Trail boots and I feel like they might be a little too big but the next size down will be too small for sure. My biggest issue is getting them to stay on and idk how tight I can make them before it's too much for my dog's feet (cutting off circulation does scare me a bit because I know she won't tell me she's injured or in pain until it's really bad). I'm training my service dog atm and realized not too long ago that the asphalt and concrete are far too hot for the duration and length of time she will be walking on it. I used to worry about it less because the longest she would be touching something hot without it being her own violation would be part of a minute. But now she goes everywhere with me and walks on alot more hot surfaces. Wish the shoes were longer tbh so that they would stay on better. I was surprised to hear the shoes I got are considered to have longer heels or whatever given how short they are. I'm wondering if dog socks would make it easier or harder to keep the boots on her.
Not waterproof? Why bother? Fashion? The pawz balloons are by far the best but you must get the right size. They have to be tight but not too tight to get on. They are also disposable, so losing one is no problem because they come in packs of 12. My son uses them for his Bassett who has huge pawz and one pair lasts months in mintreal winter weather. My dog. Doesn't seem to need boots. I wipe his paws with a very wet towel to get off salt and other ice melting poison, which takes 30 seconds after a walk. Great review. You covered all bases Thanks.
The first ones may be good at keeping a dog's feet clean in a dirty urban environment or perhaps help with hot pavement? Otherwise I completely agree with you: absolutely no point to them. Thanks for sharing about your son's experience with Pawz.
@old man strength you want shoes called Pawsh pads..Canadian brand. You want to make sure that they fit snug. If the dog is between sizes go with the smaller side. Very well made shoes with double velcro straps.
I was curious about Ruffwear boots, too! I'm primarily concerned with hot pavement, but I see this video was filmed in wintertime so no surprise there's no info on hot pavements either.
Do you not walk your dog? Some of us live in places that get hot enough to heat the streets and sidewalks to the point of burning our dogs' pads. Or you could come walk barefoot here and show us how it's done! 👍
@torreyintahoe lol, you're so hostile. I feel sorry for your dogs. If mine wants to walk, we walk. Also, the middle of the day isn't the only time the sun is out. It's not even setting until eight pm right now, idiot.😂😚
How is this channel not bigger!!!!!!
Our dog loves wearing the pawz rubber bots but hates putting them on, we need one person to hold her while the other gets them on.

Thank you for the tests!

ruffwear's griptrex might fit better! :] a year late but just thought i'd throw it out there
Have you tried or tested the fairly new "Walkee paws?" They wont fall off because they are leggings!

They aren't breathable and have caused constriction in dogs. Dogs have sweat glands in their paws..that's important to note

I need boots for the stickers in Texas
What about Ruffwear boots?

None of these dogs need boots. Dog boots are for working dogs whose pads get injured from harsh conditions like sled dogs and bird dogs.

@@TheBeeker33 I don’t take them out in the middle of the day like an idiot.

Muttluks? Ruffwear? You didn't test them all, you didn't even test the top 3 brands.
