  • It's been half a year since I uploaded a video and whilst watching this back my internal voices are screaming "NO ONE CARES" and "What are you blathering on about". But in the essence of preventing me stalling any further I've made this video so I can move on.
Basically my son needed some shelves, and I wanted an excuse to buy some very expensive varnish/finish to try in the form of Osmo Poly-x Oil. Plus it used up some knackered old wood I stole from my Mother's wood pile.
    So I did.
    If you watch, thanks!

Hey bud what was the name/brand of the tint you used before the poly oil topcoat? We're also looking for a brown pine look on our floorboards :)

It was Osmo Wood Wax Finish, so I'm not sure it it would work on floors because you only get one coat of PolyX over it. I think they sell tints though, so might be worth looking into those.
      Good luck!
