Driving into the clouds, Pikes Peak Climb [Time-lapsed] 1080p60

From the pay gate to the summit of Pikes Peak, with only one cut for a pit stop. The time-lapse is my attempt to make a shorter video than my previous post of this event. I know that even 15-minutes is more than a lot of people want to spend watching a video. Maybe cranking up the speed will make it more entertaining? The factor is normal speed X3.
From the gate to the summit is a change in elevation of about 7,500 feet (2,300 meters).
The summit is 14,110 feet (4,300 meters) above sea level.

Oddly enough, I never made the drive while I was a Colorado resident for more than six years. But then, I live 20-minutes from a popular beach town, and I haven't been there in years. Not for surf & sand in decades.
