I unsubbed 3 EDC channels because at a certain point people don't need that many knives or be swayed to spend what they don't have on the new must have special edition. As well as losing the true meaning of EDC and why we even got into this niche. I wanna thank you for actually providing EDC content with all sorts of EDC needs for the community.

I can feel this comment so deep! I un-subscribed to some channels too because they make you go down a rabbit hole... I ended up watching a video of some custom made knife with scales carved from real moon dust and dragon tears... And I even left a comment that my old buck knife was as good at cutting things as that $600 knife 😂😂😂😂... They hated me and prob banned me

I was born and raised in E. Cleveland, in the "hood". It's nice to see a native from there on YT. I've bounced around, then came back to help out my mom and pop.
A basic EMT kit is always a must. Keep it portable, but make sure it's effective. Bandages = good. Clotting packages = good (if from the correct companies). Tweezers = good. In a pinch, fish hooks and lines for a suture. Butterfly bandages in a pinch for topical lacerations. The list goes on, but all of these will fit inside of a small tin.

Most premade first aid kits are a waste of money..as a STB and first aid instructor I recommend people make their own ETK

Love the @daracrew tee shirt, X! Looks great on you. Looking forward to seeing survival and prep stuff. When I joined your channel (along time ago) that was in your heart. I think more folks need to learn skills and be more prepared. Just this old ladies thoughts 🤦‍♀️. Another great video.

So... You genuinely allow state governments to determine what kind of knife you can carry? Pfffft. I'll carry whatever the fuck I wanna carry, "laws" and "regulations" be damned.

Good thoughts 🤔 I will spend a little more on a quality tool for 2 reasons. I work as an aircraft mechanic on large aircraft so if I'm 40 feet up on a boom lift or way down in a tight crawl space I don't want that tool or multitool to fail but if it does fail then they need to honor their warranty quickly and effectively. So sometimes, like you were saying, there's good reason not to go cheap and buy the best quality you can afford. Another would be self defense. No one wants to be in that situation but if you find yourself there then your boom boom or your knife or whatever you are using needs to work. Be safe, enjoying your content.

YES! the problem is that people confuse popular brand name with quality...sometimes they are the same, sometimes is just a scam and people fall for it

I have several benchmades and love them but not a big fan lately. They’re pricing has gotten way out of hand. Just upgrading and re-issuing the same product

Can you say they are becoming the "bad apple" of knives?

Good call bringing attention to the lefty thing. Something additional to that is wallets from small makers. Often a mirrored layout for an asymmetric wallet is more practical for a left handed person. These things are most often designed by a righty, so keep it in mind. Good call mate 🤙

I look for cheap of price but not of quality in whatever I am looking for. Won't perform to race car standards more a hatchback a good little all rounder overall speaking. I also tend to try go for redundancy and improve upon things as I go along.

Agreed with the lefty comments. Being left handed, if a knife is capable of having the pocket clip flipped, it's automatically a no go. I can't carry on the right side. It's not natural to me. Also agree on the organization too! When buy stuff if you're just going to toss it around. You can't use/carry something if you can't find it! Best decision I made was organizing my gear and using my label maker to label it all. Made my life way easier.

That’s why I have grown to hate lanyards on pocket knives. They look cool, sure. But they’re just for aesthetics. They get in the way of knife manipulation. I find myself constantly consciously moving them them aside so that my hand can position itself correctly for deployment ( opening or closing ), otherwise, the lanyard gets in the way. And when they are dangling outside the pocket, they always get caught on something that ends up pulling the knife out of the pocket.

I add laynards and beads to a lot of my knives because with arthritis in hands, elbows, and shoulders it makes it a lot easier to get out of my pockets. I also prefer autos or flippers for that reason. Sometimes these things can serve a purpose in addition to aesthetics

The law one is good. For instance I know I cannot carry knives over here if it isn't counted as a job tool or if you go camping. As such I am looking for a knifeless multi tool of a small size, but they all seems to be discontinued.
