Your 6 yr old video made a PERFECT bird! Thank you
I am cooking my turkey in the Nuwave it always 😂 come out perfect. I never put all of that in the inside. I am going to try it. But everything always comes out great. Thank you and God bless you.
I will give you an update.
Thank you, for these amazing Nuwave recipe videos and easy instructions. Much better than the other Nuwave cook instructions videos by far! You're the MAN😊
+Monica Stenberg You are most welcome.
Like you, I am just a person trying to cook meals with as little difficulty as possible. Not a professional chef, trying to show off special talents :-)
Thank you so much for this video. I am using this method today.
You are my go to nuwave guy can't wait to try it tomorrow...Thank you...Happy Thanksgiving
Thank you! I use large 3-tined turkey firks to turn my turkey
You rock this dude! I bought mine to cook in an RV. In an RV, you want to go off into the wilderness to stay. No restaurants in the wild, so, cooking meals is a must. And, you are showing me how to do just this. Thank you!
You're welcome and keep the Next Bell turned on 🔔.
There are some cooks coming that will keep you well fed 😉.
That's the best thing to have when your camping I still not sure what to put the timer on when cooking a Turkey
Please see the video again.
Thank you teacher for showing me have a good Thanksgiving

🦃🍗😎
Thanks to for sharing love the video.
Great video thanks for sharing
Wow!! Thank you!
You are the cleanest guy it's great one people should wash their hands. GREAT
Thank you
Great info
thank you
I’d recommend spraying rack, prior to adding Turkey to prevent sticking, Tying drumsticks together and adding stuffing instead of cabbage ball. Also washing Turkey with hand soap? No thanks.
Cooking spray may help. I truss turkeys on the grill. But the NuWave doesn't damage things very much without trussing. Cook's choice though.
Stuffing is an option, but the cabbage ball with butter and spices provides better moisture. It's all whatever your preference though.
You'll be happy to know I turned from the _meat washing bandwagon_ . Which I point out in more recent videos 👍🏿

You need to measure the temp in the dark meat - top of drumstick. Darker meat takes longer. If you don't, the drumstick is going to be undone. And if you wrap aluminum foil over the exposed legs and the upper part of the wings for at least the first cooking time, the turkey will look better when done and not be overcooked in those parts.
Breast and thigh are best to check. Breast 165° F., Thigh 170° F. 👍🏿
Aloha 🌴,

🎉New Subscriber!!
🌴Aloha fr Hawaii🏖️ Hope you are well.
Very informative video, simple and to the point. Dad got a Nuwave.
Besides reading the instruction manual I was like 🤷 Watched your video. Love your simple instructions. Preferred preparation/spices/veggies. Personal preferences time checks, frozen vs fresh. I'm a "hands-on" type of person who listens n learns. This video explained n demonstrated key points.
Thank you for sharing.
🌺 Mahalo😊T
Aloha from Kona 🙂 this year is our 7th nuwave Thanksgiving 🦃. Our first year here I put the turkey in the regular oven (90 degree weather) we were miserable, overheated and cranky! I did my research and we had a newave oven before Christmas lol
@@doelauzon7685 Aloha fr Honolulu, born and raised here. I have family n friends in Hilo n Kona. It's crazy that we've got 80-90° weather in November n friends on the mainland have several inches of snow. This RUclipsr honestly saved our Thanksgiving!!! Oven decided to die day before Thanksgiving. Good thing, Dad had a Nuwave oven still in the box. Watched these videos night before n morning of and away we go!! We stuffed w/stuffing n extra butter after flipping breast side up!! Faster than an oven. Crunchy skin. Moist meat. It was perfect! Drippings fr bottom pan made a wonderful gravy!!
🎉Congrats on the
7th Nuwave Thanksgiving!!🎆
I'm jumpin' on the Nuwave bandwagon!!
I didn't have the extender rings. And stuck it in there. It sure burned . IDK would it make sense half way through to pull it out and put it in the oven???
Thank you for the video. Have you considered using coming twine to help with flipping?
+Kendra Miller Cooking twine may hold things together and I use it for that purpose when grilling on my outdoor grill. But for easy flipping, these days I use either a large set of thongs or grill gloves.
Wave Oven Recipes right thats why I suggested it to hold the legs together because I noticed the legs were quite floppy during your flipping. I was worried you were going to tear a leg off!
+Kendra Miller Nah, it was all good. Done it plenty of times. But like I said, I use large thongs or grill gloves now, so no worries about those legs.
Cooking twine is more a nessesity on an outdoor grill. Where dangling parts will burn 🔥.
I'm so grateful that you were kind enough to take time out of your life to make this video, thank you😊. As a fellow descendant of African people though, I was so distraught to see you skip the essential and might I add signature step of seasoning your food😩.I still love you....but do better😂😂😂 Power to the People👊🏾.
I am glad you enjoyed the video. It tasted great. But I usually brine my turkey these days. Like this other one I did in the NuWave Primo Grill Oven:

I am very happy to be in America 🇺🇲👍🏿
Here in America, the people do have the power, via the vote. Which cannot be said for some other nations.

@@WaveOvenRecipes I just subscribe to all four of your channels 😀 I love to cook and just was gifted a NuWave Oven can't wait to watch more of your videos so I can cook more yummy recipes. Thank you so much
You're welcome. I hope they are helpful for you.
I'v cooked a 22lb turkey it fits in the Nuwave also
ruclips.net/video/bcMx23peruw/видео.html
have you ever cooked a ham or chuck roast in your nuwave?
Ham ruclips.net/video/bB816aB1I4w/видео.html
Love the video! Very helpful for thanksgiving coming up.
Our turkey is almost 19lbs. Just trying to figure out if I can use the Nuwave with the extender for a turkey that large. (Sorry if you mentioned this in the video and I missed it)
5:58
Cut in half if it doesn't fit and cook a half at a time.
What size rack on bottom? Was it stuffed or not?
All there is about the cook is in the video.
You can see more details about this cooker here.

what if we dont have the clear ring? will it be difficult???
Depends on the size of the turkey. Bottom line, if you cannot get the dome over it, you're not going to be able to cook. So, you'll only be able to cook a very small turkey.
Been cooking my turkeys in these for ages. My NuWave dome finally caved, had to cook it regularly.. certainly NOT the way to go :( even a bagged turkey that's still juicy will not have cooked evenly. There's something magical about the NuWave and turkeys that every household should experience at least once.. they'll never think twice about cooking it in the oven again :) With the extender ring, I was able to get an 18 lb turkey in there.
21 pounds, done in the NuWave Primo:

What "Temp" did you set it for?
NuWave Oven Pro defaults to 350° F.
what what's the temp u cooked the turkey on I don't think you said that.
NuWave Oven Pro always defaults to 350° F. to start.
More people should wash their hands. Is what I ment to say. Love your videos
Thank you for showing me I'm mentally slow so I didn't know how and I got a new wait like you're so I did not know how to do it
Ours was 13 lb and we did 350 for the same time as you. It was dried out and overdone but very tasty. We will lower the temperature and time next time
+wbutlers Wow yours cooked even faster. Best move, would be to put a meat temp probe in the breast and thigh after you flip it breast side up (legs up). When the breast os 165° F and the thigh is 180° F, it's done.
Given it is best to get the thigh to 180° F, the breast will likely be over 165° F, but so long as you keep the breast to no more than 175° F, things should remain juicy.
The meat probes are the best way to know.
This year, I smoke grilled at turkey for my "D Grill" RUclips channel and used meat probes.

Did you follow the recommended time on the nuwave cooking chart? You should have one that came with the oven.
If I found NuWave's advice to be reliable, I never would have started any of this 🤣
When flipping ida flipped it on a plate then cut it loose
I missed what temp you cook it on.
The NuWave Oven Pro defaults to 350° F.
@@WaveOvenRecipes mahalo . So im actually cooking my first Turkey . You were my inspiration! But I didn't stuff it with your cabbage mixture. I threw a whole stick of butter. Brined for a couple days. I set it for 90 min. Breast down. So if I just start, it will be on correct temp?
@@poopydoodoobritches4780 I cannot speak for _your_ NuWave Oven. You will have to check your manual.
Hey, you are working this to hard!!! When you do your setup to start, place it breast down and roast for the whole cooking cycle and a 12 + lb. Bird is 4+ hours. I cover/tent the bird with aluminum foil
The only downfall with 🦃 still a cool machine got mine at Goodwill brand new in the box the pro version 30$😃
It can even cook a frozen turkey.

Thank you for sharing. But, do invest in another mitt.
+Free2BMe I did, got a whole new set and used them in this other video:

😎
I have never seen a turkey get killed twice.
It was good 😋
U have to cut it up so we can see it tho man
You'll just have to trust me. I am not hacking up my bird for you. Seriously, I will cut it as I eat it, but not destroying it for you viewers. It's done and that's all good.
My complaint on these type of videos is you never show the sliced and plated product and give your thoughts after you have tasted the finished food
ProudBirther And some others don't like seeing food eaten in front of them.
But you can see plenty of newer videos where taste testing is included.
The turkey tasted good and enjoyed by the family.
@Darnell McGavock Sr Thanks for the reply. And thanks for taking the time to make a product review. People like you give us the 'real world feedback" on consumer products. Happy Cooking! Best Wishes for 2018
Im sorry..did you just say you washed the turkey with hand soap??
Once upon a time. It's more common than you think. But I have since changed:
Food Safety: ruclips.net/p/PLpV4xb-88CyT6kv7LDOmIqpcWwomWDkl-
But you do need it patted down to have a dry exterior to start.
he did what the hell
Get over it.
It's the old school way of cooking. Sounds gross but I have eaten people's food that do this... never tasted it. 🤷🏾♀️
You are never ever supposed to wash meat or vegetables with hand soap please use salt and lemon to scrub them with.
Food Safety: ruclips.net/p/PLpV4xb-88CyT6kv7LDOmIqpcWwomWDkl-
You washed the turkey with a mild soap are you kidding me the reast of the vid was tight and a good but the soap part on food I'm eating no thanks hope you don't wash your steak and hamburgers with soap ..hahahaha I'm just saying partner why use soap I'm lost on that one guy...

couldn't see the whole turkey. Didn't cut into it. Didn't taste it. Couldn't see the texture, moisture or anything. C'mon man. Next time do better.
