I AGREEE!!!! Amazing script. Watching the movie make me feel and appreciate how hard everyone had worked to create such AMAZING MOVIE!!! Korean movie always have such amazing angles -and camera skills.
One issue I have with most if not all kdramas is that evil and good characters are often portrayed in a way that’s too simple or single dimensioned, as if there isn’t a single good bone in an evil character and vice versa. This drama had so much more nuance to each character, which is why I loved it even more!
Sure, all the actors are great but not enough people are talking about Lee Han Byeol specifically. Like this is her debut work and she not only kept up with other big names with her talent but also completely knocked it out of the park! HUUUGE props to her!
Never a cringey moment watching this series. It's horrific yet the twists are mind-blowing. I binge watched for 3 days but I'm still hooked. *and the songs still stuck in my head

The newcomer actress Lee Han Byeol is awesome! Her acting skill, her facial expression and voice were well executed in this drama. She is better than some of the actress out there. I hope she will have new projects to work on too. Can't wait to see her act again.

This is absolutely magnificent K-drama Series. I love the way they had different roles, and most of all, Kim Mo-Mi really change in different appearance and perspective for the 3 actors. And the 1st actress Lee Han-Byeol really deserved this achievement, because she just beginning with her acting skills. I love this MG
Incredible job by the director and cast. Drama of the year so far. Dark yet brillliant. This story touches on a lot of social issues.. generational trauma, beauty standards, psychopathology, domestic abuse. 2nd phase is crazyyy.
Brilliant writing and direction ! Loved how they explored the character arc of Mo-mi through 3 different actors across a timeline. And the ending... 💔 It was unfortunate that the mother-daughter could reunite for such a small amount of time. I guess it was as real as it could get.

I went in having seen all the reviews and spoilers. I thought I would not be interested to finish the series but my God, the brilliant acting and direction got me binge watching tje whole series. It was like 11pm and I needed something to watch for an hour or two before I fell asleep, I ended up finishing the whole series haha. Personally I found the first half of the series to be thematically more interesting but the superb acting through out its entire cast got me glued to the seat! Maybe not for everyone but for anyone who doesn't mind something that packs a punch it's a must-watch! another great series!
Such an emotional rollercoaster. Each actor portrayed the lifetime that Kim Mo-mi went through perfectly! I hope there's a season 2 or at least a special episode to see where Mi-mo is at ;-;

Superbly acted and beautifully directed!!!! Also hats of to the pre and post production team. Story wheys it was very interesting but the ending was sad and nobody becoming happy in the end made me feel complicated feelings. Definitely a must watch in my opinion !!!!!!!!!!
Same, I had conflicting feelings with the end involving children in violent situations, I was expecting a plot twist at some point but it didn't happen.
my only concern with this drama (not unique, Ive felt this away about others before too) is they had to pick an actress to play the “ugly/before surgery” version of a character and I worry that it would affect her mentally and affect her own perception of herself cause people online can say some horrible things. I hope she knows that she is very beautiful cause I saw people immediately talking about her looks online when they revealed her casting and it really annoyed me. I just really don’t like it when shows have to cast people to play “ugly” roles
I watched this without any expectations and without searching the cast list. When older version of Mo Mi showed up, her face looks so familiar to me, but I couldn't remember where I saw her. Turn out she was Lady Mishil from Great Queen Seon Deok. It's been awhile since I saw her in a movie or series, she almost unrecognisable here.

As he said, I think the choice of actors really makes a difference. I was able to enjoy this fully from the well thought out sides and expressions of the actors. This movie's ending makes me sad when I think about it though. But I think that's also pretty smart since sad endings stay in people's heads much easier than happy endings.

One of the top dramas of 2023 imo. Nana captured my attention in Glitch, and with this performance, I became a full-blown fan. All three actresses were excellent, as were the rest of the cast because they all managed to stand out. The two young girls have bright futures. But we can't ignore the excellence of the director and the entire creative team. The care and dedication are palpable in every detail.

Han Jae Yi the actress who Kim Chun-nae was amazing too. I love the karaoke scene with her and Nana. They had great chemistry.
