Nice, a samurai version of G Gundam, I wasn't aware of this story, yet another Gundam series I need to check out.
So G Gundam but replacing martial arts with swords. I mean I am not complaining because the gundams look cool and the fights are dope but wow it sounds like it drops the ball later on. With that said, I do think we need a G Gundam like show again especially after IBO, WFM and Seed Freedom being so serious all the time. I know we have the Build series but I mean like this and G Gundam, not as another lazy way to sell just model kits. Amazing showcase!

It's like G-Gundam and Onymusha had a baby and I FUCKING LOVE IT!!!
so its basically Turn A Gundam but set in its own "Feudal Japan" era instead of Turn A's 18th century/industrial era-esque after the Dark History which gave it a steam punk setting with some G Gundam mixed in unless it is like the Dark History for the Future Century timeline.
this seems enjoyable as a standalone story

I was sure you were gonna talk about Gundam Katana... But my god this is even better! Then again when you say Samurai and Gundam what comes to mind are the Musha Gundams but this is just as good!
Man the designs for the characters and mechs are sooooooo good! Maybe one of these days they'll appear in a mainline Super Robot Wars alongside G Gundam and IBO!

I've been looking into it, but it seems all translation efforts are incomplete. I might do a combo of what we have of the light novel and manga in one but since it'll take more legwork it might be a few weeks.
Honestly, was a bit put out by it but after telling myself repeatedly that it's like Turn-A and IBO with the whole "Past age Mobile Suits being dug up and used by feudal societies" thing and I am honestly more into it now.
Really looking forward to future updates from this manga.

One constructive critique, i notice alot of people use the long o sound in Japanese words with U, like the character Asuka in Evangelion, or here, Tetsugi, when in japanese its almost omitted entirely. For example, you say “tetsoogi”, when it should sound more like “tetsgi”, same with “Asooka” versus “Aska”. Really minor, but thought i would note it!
Again, nice succinct video, and you told just enough to get someone like me curious about the rest of the story!
