Sir I run a small home based bakery. I make molding chocolate to decorate wedding cakes and always wanted to expand candy work. I love your channel. You are much appreciated!!!
I used this recipe to make an inside-out butterfinger. Nutella instead of peanut butter on the inside, and a peanut butter coating on the outside. Thanks for the inspiration, Randy!
Great job for your first video. Can I suggest that you make up boxed kits so people have just the right amount of ingredients and especially ones you can't get often out of the USA like candy corn.
It's a little thick, so it might push out the sides of the mold a bit, but I'd say it's definitely worth a try. Please let me know how they turn out. 😊
Just made this for late night snack... yummy Randy yummy. I'm in Canada and we have this Chocolate Bar called " Big Turk" I would live to see you do this one... probably more candy corn...lol I've figured it out...Swedish raspberry candies for filling. Dang...theres some research for yah lol
At least somebody finally got it right, using corn flakes! Otherwise hwy bother?! Although confectioner's corn flakes are a little flatter and hold together better than the cereal box stuff. Thank you!
@@RandyMakesCandySo I finally gave it a whirl but I used wow butter since it tastes identical to peanut butter. It did not work well at all! Lol so can you try and do one with wow butter? Your recipes are fantastic!
Well, I made this last night. First, your gram measurements on your site recipe are way off so you might want to check that. Second, there should really be a disclaimer that these are very difficult to stop eating. I think they're better than actual Butterfingers. I have to get the rest of them out of the house asap so I'm giving them away by the bag. Fantastic recipe. I can never make it again 😂
Thanks, compadre! I appreciate you letting me know, as you are absolutely correct. I've made the corrections, so no one ever need know except you and me...and whoever reads these comments. 😂 And if these were a problem for you, I'd suggest you stay far away from the 5th Avenue Bar episode. 😉

You are so very kind, thank you! 😊
Great job, thanks for sharing 🍃🌺🍃
That's very kind of you. Thank you. 😊
Yum! Great video Randy! Looking forward to more!
Thanks, Russ. I'm just trying to follow your example. :-)
Ohh another favorite! Love the snow in background..
I do love me some Butterfinger. In fact, I've got another Butterfinger-themed treat coming up in a couple of weeks. 😊
@@RandyMakesCandy nice can’t wait!
I hope you like it. 😁
Amazing video I can’t wait for more
You're so sweet! (see what I did there?) 😆
Loved the video!! Cant wait to try it!!
Thank you! I hope it turns out great. Shoot me an email if you have any questions.
Hi we really really loved this we never knew that there is candy corn in this kind of candy what a trip!!!!
It really blew my mind when I found that out.
I used this recipe to make an inside-out butterfinger. Nutella instead of peanut butter on the inside, and a peanut butter coating on the outside. Thanks for the inspiration, Randy!
I love it! 😍 Well played, compadre!
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼my FAVORITE candy!
I remember. ☺️
Gonna definitely have to try these. Love Butterfingers.
They're really good, aren't they? Please let me know how they turn out. 😊
Great video Randy, can’t wait to making them!
Thanks, Donnie!
Can use a bowl of warm water or melt in double boiler pot.
Yes, you can melt the chocolate any way you'd like, as long as you use a compound chocolate or temper the real chocolate after melting.
Awesome video! 🥳
Aw, thanks! Let me know if you successfully veganize it. Maybe I can do a special episode. :-)
Great job for your first video. Can I suggest that you make up boxed kits so people have just the right amount of ingredients and especially ones you can't get often out of the USA like candy corn.
Well there's an intriguing idea.
Love butterfingers.
They're so good. 😍
Randy do you have a recipe for it?
I do, it's in the video description. If you make it, I'd love to hear how it turns out. 😊
You also might take a look at the video I did for 5th Avenue Bars. Very similar to Butterfingers, but I liked the 5th Avenues even more.
Great video! I can't wait to make some!! How about a video on how to make my favorite.... English Toffee? :)
Great idea! I'll put it on my list.
Could you use bit o honeys in place of the candy corns?
I don't see why not. It would be a different flavor profile, but I'm sure it would be delicious. Please let me know if you try it. 😊
Definitely a delicious treat. I was wondering where the crunch came from!
There's a bit of a crunch even without the corn flakes (somehow), but the flakes give it a bit more "oomf".
Awesomeness! Will you show us how to make Kit Kats, too?
Great suggestion! I'll definitely make that happen.
What about a coffee cup warmer?
Great idea! If you try it, please let me know how it works out.
Could you put it in a silicone mold, then pop them out and dip?
It's a little thick, so it might push out the sides of the mold a bit, but I'd say it's definitely worth a try. Please let me know how they turn out. 😊
Love to bake, but got off of sugar decades ago. Real fun video to watch, though!
Thank you so much! Today's recipe is low in sugar, so maybe it will work for you.
Just made this for late night snack... yummy Randy yummy.
I'm in Canada and we have this Chocolate Bar called " Big Turk"
I would live to see you do this one... probably more candy corn...lol

I'm glad it worked out for you! Big Turk, huh? Time for some research. Tasty, tasty research. 😁
About candy canes or old fashioned candy sticks can you show us how to make those?
Ooh, I bet I could do that! Thanks for the suggestion.
I would LOVE to learn to make candy canes and so would my entire family.
So I vote for that one ❤️
I guess I'm going to have to figure out how to make candy canes, then. 😊
@@RandyMakesCandy yes please ❤️ I don’t think I have ever seen a how to for home cooks/ bakers on making candy canes
We really really really want to see a video all about chocolate!!!!
I promise to do one soon.
Yo Randy I smashed that bell button!! Like I said on 10/20/2023
Thanks, I really appreciate it. I hope you like what you see here. 😊
At least somebody finally got it right, using corn flakes! Otherwise hwy bother?! Although confectioner's corn flakes are a little flatter and hold together better than the cereal box stuff. Thank you!
I've never heard of confectioners corn flakes. Thanks for the kind words and the tip, compadre!
Awesome recipe! My son has a nut allergy, would I be able to just swap out the peanut butter for sunflower butter? Or would it screw the recipe up?
I can't think of a single reason that wouldn't work. I hope you'll let me know how they turn out. 😊
@@RandyMakesCandySo I finally gave it a whirl but I used wow butter since it tastes identical to peanut butter. It did not work well at all! Lol so can you try and do one with wow butter? Your recipes are fantastic!
Thank you so much for your kind words! I've never heard of Wow butter, so I'll have to do some research. 😁
Making these today with my granddaughter
Wonderful! Please let me know how they turn out. 😊
Do they taste like the original butterfinger because i hate the new recipe and i want that classic butterfinger taste.
I think they do, but that's a subjective opinion. There's only one way to find out for yourself. 😁
Randy Makes Candy thanks for the reply
And great video 👍
Absolutely my pleasure. Thank you for your kind words.
Can you make milky ways
I made these butter fingers they were gone in no time. The grand kids loved them.
I can, indeed. 😊

I'm so happy to hear that! Thanks for letting me know. 😊
Who's your agent......?
Are you applying for the job? :-)
You could skip dipping and consider it homemade chickosticks.
I'm glad you said that, because chick-o-stix were one of my favorite candies growing up, and they're on my list of things to make this year. 😊
I tried it, and though good, they don't taste like Butterfinger at all.
Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. ☹️

Made a double batch and they were gone in 1 day!
That's awesome! I'm glad it worked out. 😀
