    I just got this keyboard. One thing that is never mentioned in getting a TKL is that you can just buy a cheap 5-10 bucks USB/Wireless numpad. I pull the numpad down when working, then just put it away once I start gaming. It's really the best of both worlds.

      Cons2911 I just got this keyboard over a week ago. Truely an amazing keyboard so far. It is great looking and incredibly thin. I got the clicky version, it is not loud at all. The click sound provides a great feedback and is pretty satisfying. And it doesn't have issue like a lot of other RGB keyboard -- light leaking out from the gap of the keys. I also find the volume wheel very useful. So far, a great purchase.

    I would definitely recommend getting the keyboard, it really helps on desk space for anyone that's wondering! If you need a numpad, just buy a separate numpad and plug it in when you need it. Everything else is on the keyboard. I have the logitech version like the one in this video and its awesome!!

    Hey Bud, love the video! To be honest with you, I've worked in finance for over 20+ years, and dealt alot with spreadsheets in my time. I used the numeric keypad all the time for spreadsheets. Now that I'm out of the finance world, and want to get into gaming, I'm now questioning myself if it's worth having the numeric keypad on the side. I don't mind change, but I'm still trying to figure out in my head if I can use a keyboard that doesn't have a numeric keypad on it? In my eyes, it looks odd not seeing that numeric keypad on the side. But do I really need to have the numeric keyboard? Weird I know, but I guess when I need a new keyboard, I'll try one without the numeric keypad. But I'm still not sure. LOL!!!! Thank you for the video. - Mike

    I have both the regular for my desk and the tkl for my tv setup in tactile and these are some of the best keyboards I have ever used. Paired with a g903 this is a great clean combo. Yes it’s pricey but when I initially got the regular I went with a 2080 super rather than a 2080ti and used the saving to pick up the keyboard and other stuff and still came out less then the 2080ti.

      @@BrickBazooka I use both but the one with the number pad more. That one is on my desk. I have my work laptop too paired to the Bluetooth of the keyboard and use it for work. The number pad makes it easy for work. At night I stitch it to wireless for my gaming pc. The tkl fits perfect on a piece of wood I cut out to place on my lap along with my mouse so I can play occasionally on my tv with my other pc. If I did not need the number pad the tkl gives more space to move your mouse.

      @BrickBazooka 2 года назад

      @@Blaquegold and that's comfy? I can understand playing with Controller laid back on the couch is satisfying but with a tkl and mouse mhhh. Can't see that for me. The fullsize keyboard is so big, so mouse movement is little and typing a but uncomfortable. The tkl misses of course the numblock, but I think I could learn how to avoid it, since I want to use tkl also mainly for work. Sales man, numbers, excel, but also emails and games later :D

    • @Blaquegold
      @Blaquegold 2 года назад +1

      @@BrickBazooka you will be SHOCKED on how you can have a comfy setup. I have the tkl on a 11x25 particle board that’s big enough for the keyboard at like a 30 degree angle with the mouse on a mouse pad and I play laid back all the time. At times I have my mouse pad that has a hard back beside me on the sofa as the keyboard is on the piece of particle board I had cut at Home Depot. it is equally as comfy as a controller and for me sometimes more as I am laid back. Believe it or not I get less cramps in fingers as the m&k are exactly where I want them. If a 60% version comes out today I’m getting it to even make it easier if I want the mouse on the board. I mainly play my casual games on the sofa but if I want to get serious I use my desk setup.

      I bought a Razer Huntsman Tournament TKL keyboard back in July and all was fun and dandy for a while... now, I keep having ghosting issues with the WASD mainly but other keys too when typing big texts. I'm thinking of changing it for something else...

      @@harsha1908 Unfortunately, I'm a month too late for any return/replacement from Amazon. Might check it out with Razer if they can do something for it.

      @@starfuxer Razer Keyboards have around 2 years of warranty from date of purchase. Usually their keyboards are pretty good.

    I went from full size (TOO BIG)
    Then a 60% (TOO SMALL)
    Then I tried the TKL (JUUUSSTT RIGHT)

    Forget TKL - 60 or 65% is the way to go now. I moved to 65 from TKL and have not looked back.

    I would of 100% said bigger one, but after watching this video I’d be inclined to buy the smaller one. However as I am working from home the number pad helps and I wouldn’t give it up. But when I finish my other PC (non gaming - more than likely be after iso so I still have a pc in case I stuff it lol) I will consider buying the small one. I’m sure in 5 mins I’ll be like no I’m getting smaller one for sure

    always tkl is the best, then if you need numpad buy it separatelyt and even a macro pad too, still people that work with macros you can program both keyboards

    Thanks for the video been thinking of going smaller for a while! It’s my first foray into gaming keyboards and need to use it for both work& play. Have you got a vid on the difference between the key types you mentioned?
