Yea ay first i Bought a Office keyboard Getting like 100-120 Fps in every game Low settings But When I bought a RGB Keyboard It Automatically Started giving me 200 Fps On high setting See it's a Magic
I have like 4 keyboards from cheap to expensive. The best is to get one that is shorter in length so it won’t get in your way when trying to aim or move around while gaming, because you don’t want your arms to be too spread wide/out. It also gives you more desk space or if you already have a small desk. So the price doesn’t matter as long you’re comfortable with it and it’s not too wide in my personal experience
usually keeps my keyboard on my knees and mouse to the right on my table so keyboard size is not much of an issue. if anything fitting both of my hands on the keyboard seem to be bothersome, guess keeping both wrist straight is hard or maybe i'm bending fingers and wrists to much when going for lower part of the keyboard. maybe a very small keyboard would be easier to type on with one hand
I have always loved high quality "gaming" keyboards just for the fact that they can register more keypresses at once. Just for instance I have a $350 laptop for League of Legends and Diablo 3 when I'm not home. But they keyboard on it only registers 1 keypress at a time, and that can be a serious hindrance on your gameplay performance and experience. So I bought a K95 used for half price (it was only missing the extra accessory keycaps) but it is a night and day difference in registering keypresses.
Jacob Hennon literally what he said , smh your an idiot , it just betters your experience just because the switches are faster dosent make you and instant better player , yeah you might have faster reaction then others , but that’s just about it ,
Which is very minor reason to get a mech keyboard, and faster actuation depends on your fingers, and the accuracy will come because your brain will get used to the responsiveness of you keyboard. Your brain > keyboard. Don't trust a peripheral to make your gaming performance better. It's the player.
Finally someone that brings the facts and not the hype! What makes you a better gamer is the amount hours you "waste your life" playing the game and your age. And at the end you might ended up spending piles of money with the more expensive setup and be whooped left and right by a 12 years old kid with inexpensive setup....lol
Non-gaming keyboards often have problems registering several key presses at the same time. The keyboard actually registering all your commands definitely makes you a better gamer.
I think it would be great to revisit this with a TKL or 60% set up. I've found that playing FPS games with less distance between my arms is worlds more comfortable, especially if you play on lower sensitivity to improve precision.
Hey, I've been using the HOTO Compressed Air Capsule for a while now and it's been a game-changer for keeping my keyboard clean. It's efficient, portable, and the blowing feature works wonders for removing dust and crumbs. Definitely recommend it for maintaining a spotless desktop. Hope this helps!
I use a Filco Majestouch 2 full size UK ISO, with Cherry MX Black medium weighted linear switches, Filco's own tall double shot spherical keycaps, and full n-key rollover over PS/2. No macro keys, no RGB, but keypresses feel both nostalgically substantial and sounding just like those of a BBC Micro Model B's keyboard from the '80s. Also, the solid weight and tank-like build quality feels like a great substitute for a cricket bat when it comes to braining zombies. Some people would say the keypresses of Cherry MX linear switches are a bit scratchy, and Blacks in particular are too heavy. I just find the Cherry MX Blacks have a smooth, sandy feel to them that just adds to their tactility. Also, my first keyboards were non-electrical mechanical typewriters, like an Imperial, so even more than 3 decades on, I still really slam those keys in a generally two fingered typist style from the '50s hard, which the Blacks feel plenty solid enough to handle. The medium weighting is also heavy enough for possible accidental keypresses from simply resting my fingers on them to be a non-issue. As to why I brought it, I simply got fed up of continually buying cheap branded rubber domes every few months, with the legends wearing off after just a couple of months or so, not feeling good in general, and just not good for gaming with bog standard 2-key rollover. So, having been missing the old school keyboards of my youth that I used to enjoy back in the '80s, when I first heard about the mechanical keyboard scene, with many people in that community still happily using keyboards more than 30 years old, from the days when they were built to last, and finding modern equivalents with similar build quality and theoretical longevity, I just had to get one for myself. Being a retro computer user, I also wanted a mechanical keyboard that worked with old computers as well as new, so RGB ones that were USB only and didn't work with PS/2, especially through a Belkin PS/2 KVM, were out. So I ended up choosing a Filco from The Keyboard Company in the UK, which for me fitted the bill perfectly for all the above mentioned reasons. Finally, with the additional long lasting Filco double shot retro styled keykaps, key pullers, and Finish Line Extreme Fluoro PFPE lubrication grease for keys like enter, space bar, shift and so on, the whole thing together costed me around £200 quid. However, as it's a keyboard that not only looks, feels, and sounds so good, but also has the potential of being handed down to my grandkids with just a little basic maintenance every few years, I figured it would also work out cheaper over the long term than adding to landfill several inferior keyboards over the years.
Hey there, I came across the HOTO Compressed Air Capsule and I must say, it is a game-changer when it comes to keeping your desktop clean. With its powerful vacuuming and blowing capabilities, it's perfect for maintaining a spotless environment. The multiple tubes, high-quality filters, and efficient storage make it versatile and convenient. Definitely worth considering for your desktop setup!

My brother was winning championships with his ball mouse. But... technology changes. My razer basilisk 3 didn't make me perfect in cs go, but made me a bit better than my previous logitech g510, which served me almost 15 years. There is a difference in tech due to newness. I can attest my old logitech keyboard doesn't register my strafes as well as Varmilo, though I can't stand loud mechanical keyboards, and they are almost all noisy. I guess it depends on a particular keyboard. But even a decent membrane will serve well.
It won't make you a better gamer, I've got a nice entry level RGB mechanical keyboard and mouse bundle. It had great reviews and I can see why. It's my first mechanical keyboard and works no worse or better. What it does is feel and sound great. It's an absolute pleasure to use and the RGB makes it a pleasure to look at. What it may do is reduce the amount of keys accidentally pressed or missed but I've not used it long enough to tell yet.
Is it a havit? Because I also just bought my first mechanical keyboard. It had great reviews and was on sale, just wondering if it was the same one. Merry Christmas
No keyboard will make you a better gamer but will give you a more comfortable experience with the right choice. I use a mechanical keyboard because I like the feel and response over a membrane type, so mechanical works best for me.
I use an ADX Firefight membrane keyboard, it's sturdy and feels good to play with. Tbh I never saw the point in buying a £300 beyboard for anything other than status.
Hey there! As a fellow tech enthusiast, I totally get where you're coming from. While a gaming keyboard may not directly boost your skills, it can enhance your gaming experience with features like mechanical switches and customizable lighting. However, if you're happy with your current keyboard, there's no need to spend big bucks. By the way, have you considered the HOTO Compressed Air Capsule for keeping your setup clean? It's a versatile tool with powerful vacuuming and blowing capabilities. Let me know if you'd like more info on that!
I think a good Chiclet Keyboard with good response time would be better than a MX-type mechanical keyboard. You have lower travel, and its much easier to repeatedly press buttons or lift your finger off. Im saying this as someone who is super into keyboards, I have MX-type, Alps, Alp clones, Buckling Sleeves, old rubber domes, Topres and Buckling Springs. I think in terms of pure comfort, ergonomics and responsiveness chiclets are the best as they reduce finger travel, usually have a lighter weight, the tactile event and registering is almost instant, and you have more budget options than any other type of keyboard. You will notice most speed typists use chiclet keyboards.
I believe there are some membrane keyboards that kind of feel and sound like mechanical, but mostly, yes. It's mainly mechanical keyboards that sound like that.
I mean, the keyboard & mouse set I’m currently starting with was second-hand from a friend’s PC (like, they came with the build). So a new keyboard & mouse may help me out regardless.
Corsair keyboards are decent but they're so overpriced. That K57 is £90 on Amazon. For the same price you could get a Fnatic miniStreak tkl keyboard with proper Cherry MX switches, per-key RGB lighting, an included PU leather wrist rest, removable usb cable, etc.
I type with a Logitech G610, with Cherry MX brown switches. It's great. I game with a G810 which has full RGB and the logitech Romer-G switches. A bit "pingy" but ok. Shorter activation and travel. You are absolutely right, it is definitely about the "feel". I found the biggest difference was in typing accuracy from switching to mechanical switches (no pun intended), and typing accuracy improved massively.
The only mechanically keyboard I have touched is the road hog lighting console. I don't think I'll want to hear, or anybody else, the click sound when you press the key
Outside of gaming, I use my K95 RGB for reminders for commonly used keyboard shortcuts in different programs. If I remember I remember but if I forget, I can look down, see the rgb setup, and be reminded.
I mainly just want a wireless RGB non-tenkeyless keyboard, and the Corsair K57 is the one that looks to have the best balance between features and price. I plan to do most, if not all gaming with an actual controller rather than a keyboard, so it’s good to hear that it seems to be good for what it is; I personally don’t care much about whether it’s mechanical or membrane. Thanks for reaffirming my choice.
Membrane keyboards break way too quickly! Do not waste your money on them. Regular mechanical keyboards are fine, really the reason people get them is how long they last and a perfect style and feel. [For example nicer keys to touch and ones that won't make your hands hurt while you play on them]
@@BLamb Sadly into 65% and not the fuller ones, just look it up and if you really don't care about the noise or anything most keyboards will do. Also just to mention I suggest getting a wired one, wireless has more latency and can make your input laggy.

hi bro recently i saw a site that said that the human eye was not even able to see in 4k. So I said to myself that since you make a lot of videos on 4k screens then I ask you the question whether it's worth doing them or not

Hey Centric! I am trying to build up a channel based around pc building and parts and was wondering, A: how you get delivered so many pc part, and B: what i can do to get delivered pc parts Thanks!
Something like a Logitech K120 (their $8 wired keyboard) this is really difficult. It's not a "soft touch" like the Microsoft one in the video. But the keys move up and down with tactility though its neither expensive nor made for gaming.
my acer laptop could reverse fn button in the bios settings, not sure if you can do that with a keyboard though, would make sense if you could though or being able to do it without rebooting would be great.
well, i am a custom mech nerd, but for gaming an optical keyboard is better. We are all about feel an sound. And a Wooting 60he for example is fast and low latency. Thats what you need anyway.
gamer keyboards seem to come with cables and rainbows, i like cables but not rainbows non-gamer keyboards seem to not come with cables, and i don't like batteries lots of keyboards in general don't have numpad, context button or arrow keys and the are really nice to have.
think gaming keyboards might be more common than other keyboards so excluding them might be a bad idea, RGB probably needs their own programs to run though which might be unnecessary but if it lets you configure buttons a bit then it might be useful, but just simple plug and play without installs would be nice.
YES! Without a good, clean keyboard, your keys will stick from Hot Pockets crumbs and your FPS character will turn in circles and other repetitive commands.
There's pretty much no difference except the better ones feel... well.... better... I've been playing Tarkov for 7 wipes as of right now, and for my first 3 wipes I used a $12 mouse and keyboard combo from Logictech... I had to get multiple of them because I used to smash them but other than that they worked beautifully... I used to clap as many cheeks as I do now and I don't even have a "high end" keyboard or mouse... My mouse is $32 and my keyboard is $60.... both RGB and the keyboard is fully mechanical.
If you get an RGB keyboard it automatically triples your FPS

i want that pc AND YOUR GAMING RPOOM ITS AMAZING
Amazing video, if is it possible to explain MOBA vs MMO vs FPS mice will appreciate it.
One has more buttons, one has a better sensor. Not that hard mate
The last one is dope!!
If there is a macro button , then it's actually better.
Dumb question but does it really matter using a US keyboard when you’re from the UK? Asking for a friend ;)
No, but select the US layout in windows settings
PC Centric ah I see. I will let my friend know ;) Thank you for getting back to me
All I'm really trying to do is get a more silent keyboard
Wow I saw your video after only watching one and clicked of my favorite youtubers video to click on this
Weird question but.... what brand are your glasses? lol
No only a lower ping will make you a better player. Everyone knows that!
It's not going to make you better, but it'll sure be nicer to play on.
He seem really keen on wanting to tuck the keyboard chords underneath his mouse pad lol.
or you could set auto buy/build in smite :)
A good gamer doesnt have this kinda luxury
My gaming keyboard will arrive tomorrow so I am watching every video so I don't get scammed
I just got the corsair k55
You should get a custom keyboard with Holypandas :D
my KB at 4:44 , best 50 bucks i ever spent!
gamer keyboards seem to come with cables and rainbows, i like cables but not rainbows
non-gamer keyboards seem to not come with cables, and i don't like batteries
lots of keyboards in general don't have numpad, context button or arrow keys and the are really nice to have.
think gaming keyboards might be more common than other keyboards so excluding them might be a bad idea, RGB probably needs their own programs to run though which might be unnecessary but if it lets you configure buttons a bit then it might be useful, but just simple plug and play without installs would be nice.
Bruh I am using "Office" keyboard that is from 2008 that I bought 2009 when I bought me my 1st pc.I am playing on it and its just fine.
THX MAN NOW I CAN MAKE MY DAD THINK THE SAME WOOOOOHOOOOO
3:13 the face
Gateron inks > cheery switches
Would have liked to see an actual test, not just someone using different keyboards on different games, which doesn’t really show or prove anything.
of course an RGB Gamer keyboard makes you a better gamer
Short Answer: No it will not make you better but it will be more comfortable
I play on a membrane dell keyboard for 1 year stop complaining about a regular mechanical keyboard lol. Getting a mechanical 1 soon...
i guess a 10 keyless will make me a bit better cuz i sometimes bump in my keyboard xD
